just wondering will you add the slot back when fruma releases so players dont have to delete a class to replay the game when fruma releases again? iirc this was done for 2.0 or something but that was a bit of a different update

anyways time to lose my discord rank cuz i logged into my forums account

I'm still not a fan of the slot reduction, but I don't think it's that unreasonable; if you level up 5 classes to the extent that you don't want to restart them and still want to make a 6th, I don't think locking that behind a rank, which can theoretically be obtained with in-game currency you accumulated over the course of those playthroughs, is particularly unfair. That being said, I still don't like it, but don't viscerally dislike it on the way I did 3 slots. I do think that at the very least VIP should give that slot back though.

I actually have quite a few suggestions on this update as a whole, but I'm going to refrain from making them all at once.
Instead I feel like this is the time to throw one of them at the wall.
Have you considered making the Raid and Lootrun tokens, bombs instead?
A big part of why the community never complained about DXP Bombs and Double Loot Bombs being pay to win has to do with the nature of it effecting everyone on the server (Even if it doesn't actually benefit everyone equally, it never upset anyone because YOU could also benefit off there existence.)

I realize making them bombs makes them less profitable in the long run, but I think it will positively influence the feelings people have on this update enough to be worth it in regards to long term growth.
In regards to making these work, I would make them increase loot on everyone's next run, rather then resetting dailys (That way everyone benefits, even if having not yet done there daily)
You could make them stack as they currently do, up to a certain number of times, and unlike the daily rewards, you wouldn't have to limit the number of times a day you can throw one. (Or you could greatly increase the cap anyways)

I think this could lead to some rather fun raid parties or loot run parties, and could be a new sense of community with them, which could bring something that has been a terribly received feature into something actively enjoyed, couldn't ask for a better shift.

I personally haven't been suuuper concerned about a lot of the changes initially, but I think it's super admirable to see you guys making changes thanks to the community's feedback, rather than doubling down on choices made that weren't enjoyed.

Wynncraft, despite me not playing *as much* as I used to, holds a very special place in my heart and I have supported the server financially many times in the past because I believe in the project, and the people I know on the team, who I know are passionate about it. Just happy to see the changes and administration making changes for the community. Loving the transparency as well!

I'd like to give my thoughts on the update. This isn't meant as a destructive critique, but rather as constructive observations on specific points I consider important.

Overall, I found the update to be positive. One of the aspects I liked most was making Apocalypse viable in magic builds thanks to the first Fallen rework, especially due to the synergy with Boiling Blood. However, after the recent adjustments, that build became less efficient. I understand that the intention was to limit immortal builds, but instead of adjusting the mechanics, a functional option was simply removed. An alternative solution could have been found that would maintain viability, even if it requires more effort or resources.

As for the Trickster rework, I thought it was one of the most notable successes. A build that previously barely reached 5k to 12k damage (with luck) reached over 130k under ideal conditions, such as using infinite mana in housing. While that number doesn't represent real-world gameplay, it demonstrates the class's potential with a proper build. I'm left wondering whether the new Trickster will still be useful for leveling, but that's a separate topic.

Regarding criticisms of the Pay to Win system, the only thing I personally find excessive is the reroll of shinies, as it directly affects the subjective value of certain shinies the community prefers. This negatively impacts the game's economy. Otherwise, I find a limited degree of P2W acceptable as long as it doesn't interfere with the game's balance. For example, at level 105, all players—whether ranked or not—should have equal access to Mythic weapons and skill points. Minor advantages like speeding up initial leveling don't create a real disadvantage in the final content. Skins, being cosmetic, aren't a problem.

I also want to clarify that my stance isn't due to having the financial resources to take advantage of P2W. Quite the opposite: I'm Argentine and am currently approaching seven figures in debt. I didn't reach the million mark by pure luck. My opinion isn't based on comfort, but on the logic that the WynnCraft team deserves a stable income. If offering some minor perks allows the servers to stay up and the team can afford certain luxuries without compromising the game's balance, it seems totally reasonable to me.

In short, I appreciate the work and improvements implemented, but I think some changes could have been fine-tuned to avoid losing viable options without compromising the overall balance.

agree with sentiment, disagree with execution. why gameplay perks? just give more cosmetic perks, qol perks, god just leave gameplay alone, the only people who want daily reroll tokens are those who can exploit them, same with shiny reroll tokens

I understand your point about the ideal being to keep everything purely cosmetic to avoid P2W, but we also have to consider the other side: when only cosmetics are offered, it's much harder for most players to spend. Yes, there will always be people who buy for pleasure or for collecting, but it's not common. Many prefer to spend if it also gives them some gameplay value, as long as it's not excessive.

Humans tend to seek out what gives them a modicum of pleasure, a sense of power, or conformity. Not so much something visual that doesn't change their environment, but something that influences their experience. And that's why I think it's a good idea that they've used F2P methods like Silverbull Shares to earn ranks and other items. The problem is that some things are still disproportionate, but in my opinion, they're a solution. The Champion rank, for example, requires 175 shares. If each share is worth 2 STX today (hopefully it drops to 1 STX in the future), that's a lot and will take many hours, but this is where the user decides where the rank begins, because, as a champion, I've realized that the benefits in the game aren't that great, e.g., the 3 pets, the daily totems, and the cosmetic boxes, where the only thing that is profitable at the end of the day are the totems, but these can be obtained through shares and won't be worth as much as the ranks.

And with your opinion about shinie rerolls, I completely agree: that does seem unfair to me. Not only does it break the value of obtaining a rare shiny, but it puts the player who invests real time in getting the shiny they want at a disadvantage. And I'm not talking about a short time: sometimes it can take more than 100 hours to get a shiny, and usually players tend to search the trade market, demonstrating how almost impossible it is to get a single shiny.
