There's not a lot of info out there (that isn't outdated) that I could find on raiding builds for people just starting out.
Every build out there uses Mythics, LI, Tomes, Aspects... all stuff a newbie setting foot in their foot in NotG for the 1st time at Level 105 isn't gonna have.
(Note: I did Nest a few times ages ago, but I left the game for a bit sometime around 2.0.2, so I have never done any raiding in its current state.)

So I'm looking for builds that I can jump into Raiding with (NotG at least), that aren't gonna break the bank, and don't use any of that stuff.

I have 4/5 classes at 104/105, and I'm working on getting my Mage up there (currently 95).

    TLDR:

Builds that a 100+ player of any class can play in Raids (NotG at min) and not need to be carried.
    NO: LI, Mythics, Tomes, Aspects

    Preferred
    Archetypes:
    • Paladin
    • Lightbender
    • Boltslinger
    • Trickster
    • Summoner
Oh, and if I'm overthinking this and you can kinda still just waltz through NotG in full Morph with a Hive weapon, let me know

I mainly play archer, so I will only speak on that.

The build guide has non-Mythic builds for each class that doesn’t require any tomes or aspects, but they might include LI? I’m not sure. For NotG, I would recommend the Briar’s Embrace one with the most expensive item in the build being Bete Noire.

In NotG you can probably get away with any builds in the boss fight because of its simple attack patterns. If you want to solo the boss. you just need a build that deals sufficient damage. Trapper is recommended for NotG because the Grootslang have many sections making aoe builds excel in damaging it. You can still die with any builds if you are not careful.

The main challenge of NotG is probably the challenge rooms, particularly the hammer room. However, Trapper also works well here since the aoe clears out the mobs rather easily. I would recommend bringing pots especially if you are the one hammering and you queue pfinder where there won’t always be healers. You also can’t use spells with the hammer.

Morph-boltslinger is an option if you want, but it just won’t do a lot of damage.

the issues I have with most of the "Ultimate Guild Guide" builds are:

    1. The majority of them have negative HP Regen, negative Lifesteal, or both, and no means of healing themselves, making them utterly worthless for anything besides raiding with a premade squad.
    2. They require Tomes, Aspects, or Gear that only drop FROM RAIDS (the very build you suggested uses Simulacrum, a necklace ONLY dropped in TNA).
    3. They're expensive. Costing multiple stacks of LE even for the Non-Mythic ones. I have 4 STX to my name. Even just the Briar build you mentioned would bankrupt me.
    4. Often require beating other endgame challenges, like LI or Qira (which most newbies can't do on their own), for gear.
all that to say, they're builds for long-time players who have tons of cash and friends to play with, not causal folks like me who just want to play the endgame activities and/or are just starting out

I understand your complaints. There are definitely some things about the Guide that bothers me, like how it overshadows some items that may not be meta, but are good in their own way.

I will suggest another archer build from this vid called: Wynncraft 2.1 - Hop Hmelee Archer SE lootrun by punscake.
    or
CHEAP and POWERFUL Archer Heavy Melee Build | Wynncraft by Seven
    >Used contrast, but it’s unnecessary if not worse. U can use albatross from the previous vid or dogun santuar for less damage.

The first one uses items from qira and eo, but the ability tree they use might be more fun.

Like what the guy from the second vid says, dawnbreak is recommended, but blind thrust is always an alternative. You can also use greaves of veneer for leggings for more tankiness.

Hmelee archer does work pretty well for lr, but archer is generally not the class to go for lr.

They are also the best archer builds for soloing qira and li imo because they do enough damage and can sustain. Trapper is probably somehow better tho.

I’m really afraid to recommend bolt for archer because the damage is awful for some reason unless ur using divzer, which is quite difficult to use. The archetype is the most fun for archer tho imo. The archetype has mana sustain problems where you can’t take cheaper storm I and II without major drawbacks (in an archetype that focuses on Arrow Storm may I add)
This post by Aquila has more, but it’s outdated 2.0 Freedom Thread (Building Guide and Build Library)
What you end up with is either a build that has not life sustain, no mana sustain, deals no damage or just dies in one hit. Choose your poison ig. The post I mentioned above is my favorite on this forum tho.

Ok sooo, Not sure about most archtypes but for Trickster, yeah I just walktz through NotG in full morph if I want to, most people don't say anything until I sell. Not with a Hive Weapon though.. Slider, Black, I've even used Brass Brand .-.

For Summoner, Marionette? Triple Totems or smthing like that
I honestly haven't played summoner in a while, I just go funny Abso and afk

    Lightbender....
    Nepta Floodbringer, Cascade Morph?

I feel like NotG isn't that hard.... I'm also a bit of a morph stan so :keke:

I will say that Morph is kinda hard to use in NoL and TNA... I feel that trickster or lightbender will do the best in morph? I feel very old suggesting Marionette...

    Side Note,
If your're willing to play Battlemonk then Collapse+Morph will do fine in almost all (maybe..) raids except TNA.. (maybe TNA? finding teamates will be hard though xD) you just need like one tanky-ish boon

typically speaking, any build with massively negative health sustain has ways of cancelling it out (nether's scar hpr% cancelling, -ls in a spell build, etc.) and even still, any build for any class should have pots to spare in a pinch.
sorry to say this is not really an issue if you can just buy the gear from tm anyway.

not saying the "ultimate build guide" is perfect, nor do i really think it a "guide" per se, but they are pretty heavily optimized.
but since just leaving it at that would be a bit rude,
    piss-cheap paladin
    piss-cheap lightbender
i dont really know how to build outside of comfy ol' tank builds but god dont i love building builds that can tank a hit

regarding that Paladin build: how viable is it to drop Cheaper Bash and Cheaper War Scream to grab Cyclone?

you know you dont have to strictly follow every build you wanna try right, you can just do so. also it's paladin, less about damage, more about tanking, with holy trumpet and provoke, you're essentially doing what guardian does, but with less hp/ehp than if you had a mythic

also, direct upgrade could be boreal if you can afford that, or guardian if you can afford that, or li/hive stuff if you can clear that content, or raid gear if you can afford it.

I'm trying to put together that first build (CHEAP and POWERFUL Archer Heavy Melee Build | Wynncraft by Seven) but the Wynnbuilder links in the video description don't show how the ability points are allocated. Would you know what that tree should look like?

Here is a more standard one. You can take any cheaper spell nodes you want, and lots of them like Bryophyte Roots and Phantom Force are not necessary, I just like them. Use arrow bomb on enemies to apply coursing restraint. U can also grab spectral hover to make using ghostly trigger easier. I will say, it’s quite easy to miss & loose all ur focus when using arrow bomb or ghostly trigger.

This is the one from the second vid by punscake with leap archer.

I would also prefer the leggings and necklace from the second vid for the build. They might be more expensive tho
