While I am very thankful that you have taken the time to address our feedback, along with providing more explanations for the controversial changes, I still am dissatisfied with the increase in power/money donating is now capable of providing, and I know others feel the same way. I hope we can keep up the transparency, and work together as a community/dev team to find a solution that benefits all of us.

Thanks for the changes and clarification, Mr. Salmon.
I don't think monetization is a bad thing, especially if it's cosmetic, I'm just against the p2w aspects of stuff like this.

Tokens need to go. You don't need more stuff to buy, you just need something similar to other games, such as Warframe, that convince you to buy a cheaper, time-restricted randomly given deal for shares. And after that, more ways to burn shares, but in a way that benefits everyone, such as gathering totems bought with shares, mob totems bought with shares, and so on. At least this is my two cents on it, just what I've seen from other games.
But seriously, tokens are awful, and shouldn't be stackable at all.

Great now fix fallen! you guys literally killed warrior to the point where its one of the worst classes, generalist isnt good and is inconsistent so the generalist buffs are awful, showing your business stuff was a good idea though, more transparency.

Great post Salted, it's extremely touching that you would be so transparent with us about Wynncraft's business costs. As a longtime player since 2014, I can confidently say Wynncraft is the best it has been, ever, and I have nothing but faith in you and the Wynncraft team in keeping it that way. That being said, I hope the Dev team remembers this pushback the next time monetization changes are considered. I hope that the team's ambitions doesn't end up snuffing out the community's love for this game.

I'm glad you decided to speak on this because a lot of people are complaining and I feel like they didn't even read stuff properly or they don't understand that this IS a business there needs to be some money made lol. My only thing when it comes to this update is I am sick and tired of the constant nerfs/buffs to various archetypes every. single. update. You guys literally will buff the worst archetype and make it OP and nerf the best one and make it suck in and endless cycle. There was NOTHING wrong with fallen besides MAYBE the combination of using it with Acolyte overheal. Now don't get me wrong its interesting that the "meta" is always changing and the economy probably relies on changes like these (I hope not) but why can't you simply take classes that are lacking and bring them up to the standards of the other classes. It should be about what PLAYSTYLE you want to choose, not which class is best; the meta limits our options and certainly removes a bunch of content that should be keeping players hooked. In my humble opinion this is the #1 thing that needs to change in the future

Very appreciated for the transparency! I always felt like it was worth cutting through the irony and speaking out about the server's finances a bit so people who made those jokes and memes did so 100% knowing they're not true, and not intending to use them for malice. I still believe the Ability Points loaning system should be entirely scrapped, but I'm very glad you guys decided to walk back on your decision to limit rankless players' class slots that harshly. Would love to also see a small bit of work still be done for the initial /use menu to make the store itself be the sub-menu instead of the use menu itself being the sub-menu.
Wish y'all the best! Hope the public reaction to the update hasn't brought you or the team down!

i guess i can accept ability point loaning being a thing, but I'm still of the opinion that purchasable raid/lootrun reward boosting tokens should be completely removed.

Gang, I'm sensing an unfortunate reality. Give them an inch but take a mile. We're not getting a part 2 fix are we?
I think this reality of P2W boosting lootruns and raids is going to exist a week from now.

my only question is... who out here selling Silverbull Shares? and what you using that LE for?

I totally agree, the nerfs need to stop, this isn't a competitive MMO nor a competitive game at all (especially since they killed pvp), so why does it need such absurd balancing? balancing like warframe is the best IMO, yeah theres a few meta items but the nonmeta stuff can compete just as well so long as you learn and build it right.

tl;dr/ Instead of nerfing meta options buff the nonmeta options to make everything viable.

    I love you cow man.

Do what you have to to keep the server running.

My suggestion if you guys need more avenues to monetization is to let us buy more specific cosmetics in the shop. There are alot of cool cosmetics I would totally pay a bit extra to just buy outright vs going through the loot crate lottery to try and get it.

This is basically exactly the response I wanted, so I'm pretty happy. Still worried about the AP thing, but having explanations of the rationale behind these decisions is very helpful. I'd like to see more posts like this for other updates, even if they don't get a negative response.

Awesome post, glad to see some of the more egregious changes being walked back (still not sold on AP loaning (but the justification actually makes a lot of sense, it just seems like there should be a less harmful way of getting it) and daily reward stacking), and transparency is always wonderful. I think there's nothing inherent wrong with a monetization-based update, but some of the specific changes, along with how it was revealed (all at once) and defended to the community (in the initial changelog, dodged the severe or controversial issues in favor of overexplaining simple changes) left a lot to be desired.
