Made this after thinking about how humanoid balance would change with tails.

My only critique is that it isn't bright enough to look like it's a sunny day, but I wanna do other stuff, and I know the reason it went that way, which is that the very bright checkered pattern indicating transparency made me perceive it as brighter than it was. Still like it though.

 

Spoiler: Alternate Ralsei Design

A design for some sort of alternate version of Ralsei. Decide for yourself what this Ralsei may be.
I didn't like how the shading went with the last drawing, and I totally figured out why! I was using Tri-Layer Shading on a piece without line art!
I did Freestyle Shading (Which is what I'm calling the method used in 'Break (Emison)') on this piece and it looks great!

Maybe I'll finish this up another day and call it my first proper comic!
After looking at it, I noticed I should've moved the 'So you have…' dialogue a bit to the right, to make the lines flow into each other on the page better, but I'm not gonna fix it cause, I dunno, maybe someone will learn something from seeing a mistake of mine.

EDIT: Oh yeah, probably shoulda said, the second drawing has what would definitely be considered sexual humor, so, uh, watch out

Spoiler: Bomber Jacket/Wedding Dress combo

The dress feels sorta halfway to a Wedding Dress, I just don't know if it's glamorous enough, and I forgot the wings until right before posting, as always, so they're just sorta shoved in there as a big blob. Oh well, I still like how it turned out :D

 

Uh… So this drawing is sorta a mix of different thought trains all mashed together.
I was originally thinking about PhoenixSC videos, and how a lot of those who draw 'MC Mob but girl' miss a lot of the potential for weird proportions, and end up just drawing a normal woman wearing MC merch, which is stupid and boring,
Then I drew an Enderwoman type thing in the Teru power pose, and, uh, then I added magic stuff from the hands.
So yeah, it's kinda nonsense in the end, but hey, at least it was really fun to draw.

This one was a bit more for fun than some others, cause there's way too much missing context for this to mean anything to y'all. Still, hope you like it!

Actually sketches this time, but for a good reason. I drew two brand new characters, cause I wanted to, and so I was doing smaller drawings to figure them out, and then I ended up not being able to finish the full drawing of them. I might go back and finish it tomorrow, maybe not.

Spoiler: Pilot Duo

LORE/STORY:
A mechanic from the colder regions, and a farmer with a knack for aviation from the hill country, ended up as the sole crew of the space exploration mission "Wayfinder," pairing them together in a large ship, traveling between planets, for an unforeseen amount of time… Drat, I don't have time to type any more… Ah well, cya all tomorrow!

 

I was getting a haircut, so I wasn't able to start until around the time I'd usually be posting a complete piece, so here's a less complete drawing.

Other than the lack of shading, cause I wanted to finish up before sleepy time, I'm very happy with this drawing. I really enjoyed figuring out some anatomical stuff for an anthro spider.
EDIT: MAMMA MIA, I did not realize how hard it would be to see against the spoiler background. I keep pickin' the wrong grays, man.

 

Decided to actually do what I said I'd do, and color the Pilot Duo drawing. I did try to color the anthro spider drawing, but it didn't really turn out. I'm still posting it here, as an example or somethin', but know that I am not happy with the result.

Stuck on a ship, tasked with exploring the cosmos, this unlikely duo of a farmer with aviation aspirations, and a factory mechanic with sights on the stars, grew to a greater whole together, making their names known across the skies… and scattering broken ship parts across all manner of celestial objects.

There are many reasons I think this 'failed,' with probably the most egregious one, and the one I'll point out, being the background not fitting at all with the original intention. Guess this can happen when you're improvising basically everything about a drawing. Maybe another day.

 

So, couldn't really think of anything good today, but I did mess around with a nice color palette/gradient, so here's that.

I know this resembles something greatly, but I can't put my finger on it.

 

So, a bit ago now, I was creating characters out of each archetype for fun and character design practice.
This was my design for the Boltslinger.

As I created more and more of these designs, I strayed farther and farther from the archetype, and this was one of the least connected.
Maybe I'll use this design elsewhere. It's far too striking to leave alone.

 

So, I had a brush lying around meant for Pixel Art, and I thought to myself, "Man, what the heck would it look like to draw normally with that?" So, uh, here ya go!

The name of the drawing is a bit flat, but whatever. This was pretty fun to do, I like how messy and free the line art is, but the coloring was hell because of that. Probably won't do this much.

So, I decided to make a more complex, ambitious drawing and, lo and behold, I didn't finish it in time. Trust me, it'll be great when it is done, and the extra day will give me plenty time to make it just how I want it.
In the meantime, have the Sky layer from the drawing, which I liked the look of so much I wanted to show it by itself.

The Shepherds are an idea I have for my story, The Journeymen.
Sheep, with a following instinct, and dogs/wolfs, with a protective instinct, naturally come together.
Throughout the many towns, tribes and travelers, some of the few widespread rules are the agreements surrounding the wandering defenders known as Shepherds. Nobody attacks them, out of both kindness and fear, due to many Shepherds being powerful sorcerers. Many will host them without a second thought, and it's often looked down upon to refuse them, due to the widespread positive perception of the solemn protectors. The stories are not without basis, with the selfless, exceedingly kind nature of the Shepherds being well documented and spread across the lands.
The many hardships brought about by the jobs of the Shepherds result in most of them being extremely mature and wise, making their council highly sought after, but by the request of Shepherds across the lands, they are not sought out for their words, preferring to be left to their flocks, wandering the hills and islands in peace.

 

Wanted to make another more complex drawing, this is as far as I got today. I'll make sure to finish it tomorrow, and then I'll probably go back to doing one day drawings for awhile.

I think what caused me not to be able to finish this today was the fact that it's two figures instead of one, and the right one was really messing me up. I mean, it still doesn't look right.
