How is "Wybel" pronounced

This is to settle a dispute I am having about the pronunciation of Wybel

 

In the order of the grook in the wybel class the teacher says this:

• Teacher: Wybels! Pronounced like ''nibble,'' they're a rather popular pet nowadays. But you all knew that, you want to know where they came from.

 

I don't think this teacher is mentally stable and thus a valid source for how Wybel is pronounced

• Teacher: They're here to kill us all, I swear it! How else would you explain a wybel VAPORIZING a group of poachers? Ten colors of wybel, every one of them rotten evil!

The correct pronunciation is wibble.

 

I have been pronouncing it why bull for the past 4 years, I cannot believe what I'm seeing

I've a quibble with wee bull, and that is that wee bulls cannot dribble. I do not mean to nibble, but Sybil from the Corkus Council has oft scribbled the truth that wybel is wibble.

all jokes aside, canonically it is "wibble" with the "wy" pronounced the same way as it is in "wynn"

 

Even though wybels were canonically found on Wybel Island in Gavel, I always thought their name was intentionally tied to Wynn/Wynncraft since they both start with "wy" and therefore they would be pronounced similarly to Wynncraft.

I always thought it was Why-bell or Why-bull until I played Order of the Grooks then I realized it's wih-bull or wih-bell and I thought thats bc it's the same pronunciation of wynn which is like "win" and then I questioned cybel's pronunciation because I thought it was like "cyborg" but a wybel and that it would rhyme and knowing then that wybel wasn't pronounced with an "I" sound in the first place that makes me even more confused because if it's cy like cyborg then it doesn't rhyme and if it's cih like wih-bell then it rhymes but it's not themed and now you say it's WEE not why or wih I am questioning my entire existence

Wybel is pronounced like "wih-bull" only, not "wih-bell" (you don't pronounce nibble like "nib-bell", after all).

Cybel would obviously be pronounced like "cy-bull" because they are cyborg wybels. Sure, it would be a better pun if their first syllables rhymed, but maybe they were never supposed to rhyme... or maybe they were supposed to rhyme, but the person who named cybels was pronouncing wybel incorrectly, idk.
The pun still kinda works though, because cybel is just a one letter difference from wybel.
