Old to Wynncraft, New to Forum!

I created my archer class 11 years ago, and I fall in love with this game every time I pick it back up! I'm so impressed by all the updates and how much the game has grown in this time. I remember when Wynncraft was just a little patch of land with so little to do and such a low level cap. No Selchar, no Almuj, no Nesaak, and especially no Gavel. I rejoined last month after getting some buddies to try it out, and there's SO much to do! I've been trying to get 100% with my level 103 archer, and I'm only halfway done with the content list! Looking forward to the Fruma update!!!

For those who are new to Wynncraft, my recommendation is this: Get a friend or two and explore. This game has so much beauty to explore and fun to be had.

 

Welcome back from retirement, how was it? Surely not as great as your service! Glad you like all the changes, there truly has been a lot in the last decade.

I've come back and fourth by myself throughout the years, but this time I intend on 100%ing it. I got some shaders, wynntills mod, voices of wynn, and distant horizons mods, and oh my god it has enhanced the game SO much. My friends have come and gone through the years, but I recently got a few newbies to join and they seem to really enjoy it. That's what really got me invested. No crazy stories or anything like that, but I still have a ton of old items that are unusable that I look upon fondly. My bank feels kind of like a museum. Its surreal walking through my old grind spots, most of which no longer exist as they were once known. I got stuck on the Tower of Ascension's final boss a long time ago, so I quit for a while, but I came back a couple of years ago just to see if I could beat it. Some of my favorite memories are the special holiday quests, I hope those are still available for me and my newbies to play. But my favorite quest of all was the one where you have to sneak through Almuj's underground bank vault. If that quest is still available the way I remember it, I highly recommend it while listening to mission impossible/spy music, super fun.

PS: Hello brother archer, not as many of us out there as I would've anticipated! I don't feel as powerful as I used to, not sure if Archer has been rebalanced or if I've just lost my touch. (Edit: Of course archer has been rebalanced, everything has been rebalanced with the skill tree update!) I've been trying out Shaman while playing with my buddies, quite a fun class! Highly recommend, super OP when it comes to crowd control.

 

Fully geared up, nice! I hope it doesn't get overwhelming, though.

What items do you have in your collection? If you were to pick two, three pieces to show off? Certainly don't get rid of them!

Sadly most of the holiday quests are now removed. The CT have a much higher standard nowadays.
As for the labyrinth quest, that's still there, don't worry :) Basically unchanged from what it used to be.

I believe our art may have been a bit nerfed, and the many paths we get to try nowadays might add to the feeling. The gods themselves envied our power so much they decided to take it away from us...
Also yeah, shamanism is fun too! Not quite my style, but it has a lot of variety.

 

I found that exploring wynncraft is always more fun with a party, so make friends and join guilds, that's what its all about.
