What happened to the player complaint reports, I submitted a report about a month ago about the play

What happened to the player complaint reports, I submitted a report about a month ago about the player, the moderator started reviewing my report, but they didn't give a verdict, the player is now walking around the server with impunity!

 

Just because you reported someone doesn't mean they just get banned automatically? When you file a report, it gets investigated. After that, they decide if there's compelling evidence that the person you reported is breaking the rules, and if there is they then issue punishment. They don't just ban someone when you report them.

Moderators also don't necessarily tell you about the outcome of a report you make; quite frankly what happens after that is none of your business unless the player was directly harassing you or doing something else directly targeting you.

 

So I can insult the players too and get nothing for it?

 

In short, no. In long, you can absolutely do that if they don't report you for it, which they almost certainly would. Then, you might get off with a warning (such as the player you complained about may have received), or you might get muted or banned. While this isn't a real-life court system and there isn't a trial where they try to establish that it was premeditated, posting about it on the forums and explicitly noting that you're aware that it's against the rules probably isn't a great look in that case.

 

You don't know if the player was warned or punished unless the moderator chooses to inform you of that. In most cases, they likely won't.
It's very possible the player was warned or muted.

 

It's just that the moderator promised to let me know when the report will be checked, but the report disappeared from the list in the "report" altogether
