    Hey!

Recently returned to wynn, and started to grind it, but im pretty confused coming into this game with no idea what does what, especially with so many items!

I'm good on the professions part, as ill worry about those later on, however if anyone has item tips, or anything else that could be useful, i would appreciate any tips, tricks or advice you may have!

Mainly focused on leveling/exploring at the moment to grasp the world, and warrior class, but plan on making a archer character once i feel comfortable i have a grasp on what im doing!
(Also any money making tips would be awesome :D)

One thing that confused me are powders/Powder slots? Do i need to choose 1 powder per weapon or can i increase the slots?

    Thanks!

(Should probably add, i use wynnutils + a ton of more mods, if you have suggestions on things i should turn on/off would be appreciated!)

It sounds like you've been away for quite a while, so I'd recommend starting a new class if you didn't already to at least get you through some of the basics.

A couple of tips I'd give to pretty much any new player:
    1) don't do professions unless you really like the grind; they are completely optional (and the grind gets really bad later on)
    2) do all the quests, boss altars, and dungeons, since these are the main substance of the game and are mostly quite good (some need updates though)
    3) don't just try to get to endgame asap, experience the game
    4) play around with different items, builds, and archetypes; this'll give you a feeling for what playstyles you like and which ones you don't
    5) for money, I wouldn't recommend a ton of money grinding until the endgame, but do the loot caves (just labeled as caves in the content book) when you see them, as those will give decent rewards and are probably the best way to make money in the early game, at least without grinding for hours

With regard to powders: most weapons and armour have powder slots. You can put one powder per slot (earlygame most have 1, later they tend to have 2 or 3). If you put 2 tier 4 or higher powders, they'll give the weapon a powder special, which can be charged by hitting enemies and then uses with shift+right click. You cannot increase powder slots, but you can remove powders from a weapon if you want to put a different one on. This is seldom worth it early in the game, but is worth knowing.

The mistake might be trying to grind it. You're not only skipping a lot of content, but also a lot of explanations and experience that would teach how stuff works
