I cant figure out why im not gaining xp

Im level 92 grinding at scrapyard and sometimes i gain 100k xp in seconds but most of the time in only gaining a couple thousand in seconds. its really inconsistent. I use wynntills so i can see the percentage that i am through the level and i watch it quickly go up but most of the time it takes 30 seconds to gain %0.1 xp. does anyone know why this is?

 

Are you in a guild? If so do /guild xp 0.

 

if you're grinding in a party you have to actively kill mobs, not just do some damage

also there could be some bug where you dont get xp if you kill mobs outside the totem

there's also level range, so the closer the mob lvl is to your own level the more efficiently you gain xp

and in some places there spawn rare mobs that grant significantly more xp
