I've played all the Main Quests for this game many times with different characters focusing on different archetypes. Here I will be rating them, talking about them, and updating this post as I "beat" the game with more archetypes!

The ratings are based off a video by nightbaker from like 2 years ago rating all of the Archetypes. Also, the ratings are my personal opinions from my personal experience playing the game with them!!!

    Warrior
    Battle Monk
    Damage: 3/5
    Survivability: 3.5/5
    Fun-ness: 3/5

    Total: 8.5/15

Battle Monk was the first archetype I fully beat Wynncraft with. My opinions and ratings would probably be different now than when I played it because I played this archetype before 2.1 released
I don't really have any specific thoughts on this archetype, it was kind of boring but it worked for playing through the game

    Red Nodes:
Generalist: Didn't even have active on my ability tree half of the time I played

Whirlwind Strike: I don't think it deserves to be a red node, but I love this ability purely for giving Warrior any vertical mobility and for Uppercut Surfing with Aerodynamics

Discombobulate: It feels like it'd be the first red node for an archetype, not the last, but otherwise it's cool I guess
    Paladin
    Damage: 2/5
    Survivability: 6/5
    Fun-ness: 4/5

    Total: 12/15

I first started playing Paladin when it got reworked with Heavenly Trumpet and some other stuff, and it stuck out to me with the fact that you're immortal. It's hard to die with this archetype, which means I was able to do things like ToA and Qira on level for the first time since 2.0.
However, this comes at the cost of doing no damage half of the time. If you don't have Shield Strike or Sacred Surge you're gonna be sitting like a bum until you can use them again.
I don't really mind that as much though just because of the feeling I got when I was actually able to do some of the quests in the game without using another class.

    Red Nodes:
Mantle of the Bovemists: A great first red node, and was fun to use with the reworked Shield Strike. I may be a bit biased due to having the Mythic Aspect which majorly boosted this with +2 charges

Sacred Surge: Holy Power is such an interesting stat, and I love how it being gained with using any of your abilities opens the possibility for things like Fireworks and Comet giving you tons of Holy Power
I only wish it were used for more things than Sacred Surge, Luster Purge, and Heavenly Trumpet

Heavenly Trumpet: It's so satisfying to use at 100% Holy Power to make yourself basically immortal, especially if activated at the same time as Mantle of the Bovemists

    Archer
    ...

    Mage

    Light Bender
    Damage: 3.5/5
    Survivability: 5/5
    Fun-ness: 3/5

    Total: 11.5/15

Light Bender was actually the third archetype I started, even though it was the second one I beat Wynncraft with. Anyway, Light Bender is definitely the easiest archetype I played with, with good damage and absolutely insane healing
The reason I started playing this archetype was because I heard it was good for raids, and it sure is

    Red Nodes:

Ophanim: It's awesome because I don't have to aim Meteor 12 years in advance, other than that it's just good.

Lightweaver: I barely noticed it because I never went out of my way to try and position myself to where the Lightweaver orbs would actually hit stuff

    Sunflare: Didn't notice it
    Assassin
    ...

    Shaman

    Summoner
    Damage: 4/5
    Survivability: 3/5
    Fun-ness: 4.5/5

    Total: 11.5/15

Summoner was the second archetype I started with, and the third one I beat the game with. I started this class right when 2.1 released! I really like summoner classes in games like Terraria, so Shaman and this archetype really caught my eye. I stopped playing this archetype in favor of my Light Bender around level 75, and I came back to it after the Summoner rework released.

    Red Nodes:
    Puppet Master: Does good damage

Crimson Effigy: I don't really notice this that much in gameplay but it probably helped

Hummingbird's Song: It's a bit of work for not THAT much damage, the movement buffs are nice. I hope the damage gets buffed though
    Acolyte
    Damage: 5/5
    Survivability: 2/5 to 4/5
    Fun-ness: 4.5/5

    Total: 11.5/15 to 13.5/15

I literally just finished Acolyte (as of the making of this post), and I got the idea for this post when I was wrapping up the playthrough. Acolyte had amazing damage but was definitely the hardest Archetype I played through with
Good god the outdated heavy charge and multihit spamming mobs really showed themselves when I played this archetype. It got better though once I really focused on getting healing efficiency stuff though, well the general survivability got better. Nothing can save me from the meteor and multihit spells...

    Red Nodes:

Sacrificial Shrine: Good damage but it's hard to sustain your health at times with it

Eldritch Call: Sometimes difficult to get the enemies hit by the tentacles, but when they do get hit, it's very strong!

Blood Sorrow: I barely ever get enough Blood Pool built up to comfortably use this, and when I do use it the damage isn't that great, and the overhealth feels pretty lacking

Well, that's all I have so far, this thread took foreeeeever. I'll play through the game more times with more archetypes when I get over having to do Tower of Ascension and Qira Hive

How many Archetypes have you beaten Wynncraft with? WHAT Archetypes have you beaten Wynncraft with? What's your favorite archetype you've played, and what archetype would you rather play Legendary Island 12 times than play again?

Definitely didn't mean to type 2.1
Tried setting the white text to "none" because I assume you're on light mode. If the problem isn't fixed that sucks

that's what I thought, but it did catch me off guard
setting things to none doesn't always work. (and didn't, in this case) It's not the worst since it's in a spoiler, so you can tell text is there to highlight it.

Added my thoughts on Paladin, since I just completed playing it! Funny how I completed it a year after completing Battle Monk

what archetype are 1.0 archer and mage for the poll /j

Neat thread! Its always fun to see how people feel about archetypes without focusing on balancing them

The archetype I have the most to say on of the ones I've leveled has to be old trickster, I went into it expecting it to be a dps (as it's assassin) but it plays more like a tank which is really cool! You were pretty hard to kill with clones up and could make the choice to sacrifice that survivability for damage with bamboozle. The overhealth and luring also encouraged a more supportive and defensive playstyle, which I think is really neat! The main issue with it was that when mirror image was on cd and you lost your clones to like, a multihit or arrow storm from an enemy, you were a sitting duck till you could get clones back up. After the rework it seems to be pretty similar but now able to compete with other archetypes in damage as well, the lack of damage options other than bamboozle felt a bit limiting before(like with paladin, but I've only messed with that AGES ago when it was in a poor state, seems a lot better now). It also puts a 1s cooldown on using defensive clones, which looks like it helps with the problem of losing them all immediately. Haven't tried it out yet since I've been busy, but I totally should!

...Hey wait, this made me look at archer's red nodes and for some reason both boltslinger AND sharpshooter only have 2??? Every single other archetype has 3. Maybe that's why I always felt trapper was the one with the most substance

If you have a guardian with terrible +hp and good +hpr (like I do) and do bpact paladin it's awesome (not high but decent damage and also unkillable. Heavenly trumpet is also not just a panic button if you can actually use the health.). However at the other end of that spectrum is qcarapace bbath paladin WITHOUT bpact.
