The Canyon of the Lost

Harpies are strange mammalian creature with appearance similar that of humanoid with body of a bat. They are known for their high intellect as they gather in group and form a territory in the canyon where they also would build nest for their young. Once preys unknowingly step into their territory, one of them would scream to disoriented the prey before the rest of the flock swoop to overwhelm the vulnerable prey.

Minotaurs are large bovines that known for having body structure similar to that of a primate. Males are known for being highly territorial and use their brute forces to kill any trespassers that dare to challenge them. They often migrate all over the province but they often seen around the Canyon of the Lost.

Cyclops are large sheep that tend to gather around in flock, migrating through out the canyon for food. While they may not seems to be that notable until the male. Male cyclops known for their gigantic size that overshadow the females with one singular eye-like protrusion from its forehead. Male act as guardian of the flock who entirely consist of his mates and children, it use its eye as deterrent for predator even in their sleep. It often can be seen standing even while sleeping to continue its duty to protect its flock. Even being near its flock would bring the wrath of the male causing it go rampage on the intruders.

Molten Heights

Destrachans are odd creatures that live in the upper levels of the Molten Heights and take shelter in the cavern. These creatures feed on the smoke emitting from various of fumaroles on the upper level of the heights. When they feel threaten, they can emit a loud scream from their tubular months that can stun any predators.

Hellkites are reptilian that use winds current escaping through the lower levels of the heights to levitate hence its namesakes. These creatures often gather in group to ambush their preys, emerging from the opening to the lower levels and descend upon the preys.

Drakes are flightless reptilian that is direct descendants of almost extinct dragons. Despite not having wings or size of their ancestors, they still retain their elemental absorbing ability that allow drakes to adapt to any environment or gain new ability. This would cause drakes to have two variants, fire drake and frost drake. The first live in lower level of Molten Heights while the later live in the Freezing Heights. Despite being far cry of their ancestors, drakes are still formidable creatures to encounter as not only they still retain their brute strength from their ancestors but also their elemental breathe as well.

Sky Islands

Angels are great spirits that have been summoned by the sellans that once lived in the region to defend their home. They are bonded to the armor that is forged just for them, capable of flexibility and durability that no warriors can hope to achieve. Many variants of them were created with their own strengths making encountering them in large groups could be dangerous. Even after the fracture, these spirits remain protecting the ruins and become problem for explorers.

Minokawas are large birds that are commonly found in Sky Islands, they have the ability to inhale their prey into their mouth and swallow it whole. When challenged, they also would use the same inhaling ability to inhale objects like stones and spit them out at their provokers. This same ability allows them to fight back against the wyverns as they are able to return their projectile back to the predator and in turn making locals speak of legends of the birds that swallow flame.

Wyverns are flying descendants of dragons that become apex predators of the Sky Islands. Just like their cousins, drakes of Molten Height, they are capable of absorbing elements during their youth. This makes many variants of wyverns throughout the Sky Islands and make them unpredictable creatures to encounter. They are formidable creatures to encounter even to the experienced adventurers and avoidance is often recommended.

Spoiler: Dragons

Ozoth also known as the Endless Kindler by the doguns, is a one of the last remaining dragon in Gavel province after culling of her kind by many civilizations. Now she made a nest atop of her spire where she take care of her egg. However her spire would be located right next to Thanos stronghold which cause problem for its resident that grow concern over her presence


Calix was a few and likely the only dragon to ever tame the ice and become one with it. Her mastery over it would earn her respect by her kins but her presence alone would bring winter to anywhere she goes. Fearing the cold would disturb the peace of the heights, she would make a deal with doguns to allow them to build a city at the edge of her territory in exchange for them to keep her ice at bay. The city would be founded and named after her where they would live peacefully ever since. Until the war broke out, Calix would find herself enslaved by the dwarves and forced to fight against her allies. Unable to control her power the moment she drew her final breath, she would freeze Calix city and doom many doguns to forever frozen tombs that are now called Freezing Heights.


Farcor, also known by many names such as the Wise one or the Great Serpent, is a spirit dragon once inhabited the Ahms region where he was revered by the locals for his wisdom. The wisdom he bring shape the culture and society of Ahms region where they would prosper. He would be worship as deity along with Great Protector, the Ahms Colossi. However he would foresee the destruction of the region and warn the people yet he would be ignore as the people have grown arrogant and believe the colossi would protect them. He would express his disappointment to the people for their arrogance and left the region where he would live among the cloud to see other events unfold in the province. His isolation would be briefly interrupted by a hero from another land named Bob. The hero seeks his wisdom and decides to stay with the dragon for a while before his departure to his final mission. Then Farcor would be left alone among the clouds.

Spoiler: The void ecosystem remake

Black rovers are canine evolved to live in the void. These have awful eyesight but they have extraordinary sense due to their more developed sensors from their snout. Combine with good keen sense, they able to navigate through the void and find food. They often travel in pack and viciously guarding their food.

Phantasmal Ray are descendent of flying lizards that once reside in the Ahms region. They glide through the void and outer void in search for food as insects that gather around the pile of food fallen from the surface.

Hollow hares are descendent of unknown species of hare that once reside in Ahms Region. Their extremely powerful legs and long ears that can be use as glider to allow them to safely traverse between landmasses in the void. They are prey animals for other predators that stalk the void.

Stag striders are elongated elk that often found traveling in pack where they use their long limbs to navigate through the void. The leader of the pack which are the male use the glows on his antlers to guide his pack. They migrate throughout the void to find the next food spot. During their migration, their young are vulnerable to the predators due to their size.

Void stalkers are strange predators that lurk the void. Their balloon-like upper body allow them to hover between landmass and use their harpoon limbs to cling onto land. Their hunting tactic is lurking on the under surface of the land mass and ambush their prey.

Void Phytoplanktons are larger organism compare to those in the ocean. It's unknown what cause them to evolve to this proportion or if they are relate to the phytoplankton of the ocean at all but they still serve the same role as their oceanic counterpart did in the void ecosystem.

Voiders are descendent of the sellans of Ahms region that fallen in the void and now force to adapt to the environment of the void. They are relatively same as their ancestor with only minor physical difference which are paler skins, taller, and skinnier body.


Voidborn wyrms are descendent of dragon that escape into the void where they evolve to become apex predator in the world below. Individual wyrms form large territory that they ferociously defend where they use it to hunt for food such as smaller creatures or large mass of phytoplankton. They are known for their aggression to the point intruding their territory is enough to provoke them. They are formidable in term of strength just like their ancestor despite the lost of many abilities that dragon once have. However to make up for it, they can consume gas from the outer void and store it inside their body where they can release from either the mouth for breath attack or their propulsion in their belly to allow them to traverse faster in the void.

Spoiler: Krolton JUMPSCARE

Krolton is a creature once stalk and terrorize the residents of Canyon of the Lost, stalking lost travelers and disturbing wildlifes for over nothing. Its reign of terror would put to an end by the Bantisu monks that put themselves to take down the creature. However they could not kill it thus force to trap it in a cavern where it stay imprison since then. Until the shifting of the canyon slowly freeing its prison where it would threat the canyon again.
