I need help with the "misadventure on the sea"

So I was doing the "misadventure on the sea" quest and got to the part where you have to find a way to flee the island. I thought it would be a good idea to use the Ragni teleportation scroll because that is technically fleeing the island. The quest didnt complete and now I cant get back to the island. Is there a way to cancel it and redo it because I need the Selchar fast travel.

 

There should be a button by the nemract docks that says return to quest, but you don't need to do misadventure on the sea to use seaskipper or to swim to selchar and buy a TP scroll
