Poison isn't a viable stat to make a build centered around it unless you are playing toxoplasmosis and ingredient grinding, sorry mate

So, I just looked to see how it fares after the recent poison buff. It is massively better than it was prior to the update. However, using the best possible poison gear available to warrior (without crafted because I'm not willing to deal with that research), you would get a dps of just shy of 59,000. This build doesn't technically work, skillpoint-wise, but it's only off by 9 so we'll pretend that's fixable without harming the poison dps. The good news is, that's effectively true, as I'll show later on. Either way, 59k dps isn't all that impressive, but might be technically viable-ish? It's far less than any meta build, or really any decent build, but it's enough to do most endgame content with a group (I mean, any damage is as long as you don't care if you're being helpful. I guess what really matter is that you're having fun).

If we make some edits in order to see what could make it actually viable from a skillpoint standpoint, we actually only really need one. If you substitute in prowess for the bracelet, it only reduces dps by about 2k, which isn't really gonna change anything (It's kind of the opposite of Bill Gates losing a hundred dollars: it's not that the total is so large that the amount matters nothing in comparison to it, it's more of a "McDonald's new menu item is 10% less healthy than their previous options" situation; it's sort of a 10% of 0 situation.). The build kinda sucks, but honestly I've seen worse. Hell, I've used worse, at least to try it out. The dps is not good, the -hpr kinda sucks, but it's got some nice mana and lifesteal. Overall I'd give it a "this is one of the builds of all time" or something. For just lazily sorting items by "most poison" and then taking the top result (basically, the exact opposite of what I do with any chemistry experiment) for each category and slapping it onto a build, it's actually surprisingly functional. Do I recommend it? Not really, no. I don't recommend it (I didn't even bother with a skilltree, but I'd probably go full paladin since frankly, I can't imagine damage or movement perks are gonna help much, but extra tankiness might make it look viable given bad enough lighting), but hey, if you want to try it, go ahead. I'm a riftwalker main. Don't play the meta. Play what's fun.

Enjoying a build >>> a build being objectively good.

If you actually want to try it, you could try it on a budget using this build. The damage is much lower, but it's cheaper to make since there's no mythics, and it has no -hpr, which is nice. It's not exactly great; the damage is frankly awful, the sustain is probably nowhere near enough, and it doesn't really have the best skill tree (I just focused on making it easy to stay alive), but it would probably work about as well. Since your weapon damage is basically unimportant here, I gave it the thunder powder special for maximum enemies hit per proc. Radiance is basically the only way to boost poison damage, so this is probably the only time you'll ever see paladin being the best archetype for damage, so that'd kinda neat.

I make no promises this build is good, decent, or even the best possible, but it's about as good as I could do while doing almost entirely poison damage at a budget. It has very, very little mana sustain, but that's okay because you'll only use bash for radiance and maybe warscream to sometimes proc poison. The dps is absolutely terrible, but if you're somehow the only one left against a raid boss, and if you somehow get 50% uptime (actually even less) you could actually solo a raid boss if you somehow don't die. Lotta somehows in there, but it's technically possible, which is honestly a lot better than I expected.

cool, but im prob not gonna use this full time! Im sure you put effort into this, but i somehow made a bmonk setup myself that does like 77-99k dps, which is good for me! and bmonk is my fav archetype for warrior. TYsm I will give it a try!

hey heads up, the buffed poison items got nerfed again, and dealing 59k dps is not the best idea when bosses have 40 million hp, it's fine to use poison builds if you play alone but if you're queuing into party finder having really low performance / non viable builds can cause situations where you have held your party hostage (they are stuck in your world until you finish a raid) and can cause toxic situations, so please be wary of this before picking up something unviable like poison :praying:

tl;dr please avoid using builds that are just not viable overall (poison as a whole) in group content as that just sort of ends up being griefing for others
