I quit right before ROL, Lari, raids etc. were added so there's a lot of content I need to catch up on. I was wondering whether I should start a new character or just use my old ones. I have assassin and mage levelled up to 105, and I want to main assassin, but I feel like it would be scuffed if I try to go back and complete the story on a level 105 character. Would it be better to just start a new one?

Also, I have literally no armor except for lootrunning stuff for some reason. How do I make/find a build for just general quest completion / getting around?

Make a new class, theres A LOT of new stuff added and you dont need a build for quests, just use what you want, you only need builds at level 105

Without trying to overwhelm you, since you quit some things added were: the ability tree, aspects, Gavel rework, soul point removal, world events, custom models and animations, raids, lootruns, new music, and a lot of other things.
I say this because personally, I would start a new character since it's much better and more fun to learn everything that's changed at your own pace instead of using an existing character and trying to go back to understand anything.

I know this from personal experience because around the time of 2.0 I made a completely new account (my old one was lost in the Mojang migration) and had to start anew, getting my Champion back and playing non-stop of the 2.0 hero beta getting my new mage to level 90ish just because discovering all the new abilities in the ability tree was so much fun (then the beta ended and deleted my mage, and I regret nothing).
