It's Been Awhile, and Microsoft Deleted my Account!!!

Disclaimer: I'm not mad at the server, I'm mad at Microsoft!

So the title is self explanatory. When Microsoft forced everyone to migrate from Mojang accounts (a couple of years back) to Microsoft ones, I missed that cutoff. Being busy with life and stuff, I didn't have much time to game. Yesterday I tried getting back into this server (still remember the IP off the top of my head, that's how much I love this server lol) but I found out what had happened the hard way. So I had to re-purchase Minecraft with my Microsoft account (keep in mind I've also bough Minecraft on Xbox a year ago as well, not that it makes a difference, but it's important to me because it make his whole thing feel like an even bigger slap in he face.)

That means all my Wynncraft data is gone with that old account too! My Mage was over level 100 an had a decent build (yeah as of a few years ago lol). I had a few other characters around level 80, I had VIP+, XP bombs, Wybels and other pets, a maxed out white horse, a few stacks of liquid emerald in my bank. My mage was my main and I would go off with it, soloing guild territories like it was no one's business. So now I'm starting a new mage from scratch because I got nothing. At least I still have my forums account here though, to preserve some of my Wynncraft history!

Anyways, like ACDC im back and black an wow there is a lot of new content now! It's actually pretty fun to start new and go through everything again because even existing quests back then have changed dramatically! But anyways, to get to my question, if anyone wans to play with me and help me get back on my feet in this game, feel free to friend me and invite to your party sometime! My new name in Minecraft is 'Wat3r_B0ttle' so I'll see you all around sometime!

 

Im glad you aren't begging for your account back, but there is actually something they can do! If you have receipts/proof of your VIP purchase (forums account may count) they can actually restore your rank!

 

While it would be nice, I doubt it's possible to get it back because it's linked with a Mojang account that no longer exists. That's just me tryna keep my expectations in check lol. Ill check with Wynncraft's support and see how much they are willing to work with me, but I do like the server and wouldn't mind putting money to it again for the VIP+ rank and a few pets and bombs and such. Just a shame how Microsoft dealt with the whole situation though, another reason to start planning my move to Linux lol
