So ever since I started playing (mid October?) this year, every single day without fail- and multiple times a day at that, I am disconnected from the server with this explanation. It can vary with how long before I get the error but for an average I'd say Its normally not even 30min I can play before getting the error; It's really killing the game for me as multiple times I've been dc'ed mid raid, lootrun (Half the time it just auto ends the lootrun when I load back in for some reason, even when I still have time and challenges left), or event and it just completely ruins whatever I was attempting to do. Ways I've tried to fix this issue: Playing without Server Textures (No longer an Option?), Playing via Ethernet, Playing via WiFi, Playing in a different city entirely, Playing off of Default Minecraft Launcher, Playing off of Lunar Client (How I found the server originally), Playing off of Prism Launcher, Playing without anything running in background (Google, Discord Etc) Unfortunately none of these options helped anything. Should it be relevant, I play out of NA in a developed city (not countryside or anything so the issue isn't that there just isn't good internet connection). Any help fixing this would be fantastic, I've really enjoyed playing the server but it getting harder to play everyday knowing ill just randomly get dc'ed mid whatever I'm running.

I did not find a solution to the problem, and have since quit playing -mainly because of the issue.

For me, it's the same. Nothing has changed over the years, even after getting a completely new computer. Especially when connecting to Wynncraft, I immediately get kicked off with the message:
io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.util.zip.DataFormatException: invalid distance too far back.

Sometimes I have to repeat the process of connecting 6 or 7 times just to finally stay connected. Unfortunately, activities like raids or dungeons are impossible for me because I can't play through a whole dungeon without getting kicked, making it impossible to enjoy this type of content.

Occasionally, I get different reasons for being kicked, such as:
    io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.util.zip.DataFormatException: incorrect header check
or other similar errors. Sometimes, after an update, the situation gets a little better or worse, but the problem never completely disappears.

I've been playing Wynncraft for over 11 years now, but in the last 5 years, I’ve barely played because it has sadly become unplayable for me. My guess is that it might be because I'm playing through my phone’s WLAN hotspot, although I had the same problems a few years ago on WLAN (it was always wireless, so maybe that’s the issue).

Other than that, I can’t think of any other reasons because I got a completely new PC at the start of the year. I live in Central Europe, so the connection should be fine.

The one time I encountered this error was because of a bandwidth issue, meaning too much data was being sent to the server from your computer. Try turning down your simulation and render distance all the way, alongside some other performance-intensive settings.

Though, from what I've heard, this is quite a versatile issue with a lot of reasons for occurring.
