Hi first forum post, idk how these work

As mentioned in title, I think Discoverer (the mythic chestplate) could need a buff.

When old lootruns were a thing Discoverer and the at that time recently added craftable Loot Quality items were in high demand, since they were by far the best equipment for said lootruns. Now with the new lootrunning system however, loot quality gear has fallen out of favor. This is in part because of their sheer lack of stats which weren't necessary in the old version of lootruns. Now this has obviously changed with the more combat oriented lootrunning we know today. Consider this, when was the last time you saw someone with any loot quality gear whatsoever?

I know that Loot Quality is currently locked to crafted gear, probably as a design choice, but I think it would do Discoverer wonders to have just a little bit of loot quality. Think like 3-5%, it doesn't need to be more. Due to hypothetically becoming the only non-crafted item with the stat, it would give it the uniqueness one might wanna see in a mythic.

Alternatively I'd also love just about any buff to it, but Loot Quality felt the most fitting theming wise. "Wealth and riches...but at what cost?" Your stats. The cost is your stats.

Discoverer has some notoriously low prices for mediocre to bad pieces, some even going for less than 10 LE at times. I've even seen people upset at "when they finally get a mythic it just HAD to be Discoverer". This slight buff would make it even just a little bit more favorable for the new Lootrunning system. I'm not saying Discoverer is COMPLETELY useless or anything, as I myself am running one for rare enemy drops and for lootrunning if I'm feeling confident. But the lack of combat power really does sting in lootruns, something this buff wouldn't change.

    Summary (kinda):

    Pros:
    - Discoverer becoming more valuable, putting it more in line with other mythics.
    - Making it more viable for both lootrunning and farming rare mobs.
    - Makes it unique as an item, having something no other item has.

    Cons:
    - Might make Discoverer TOO good into rare mob grinding, making the drops too easy to obtain.
    - May go against the design philosophy Loot Quality was designed around.

I think even base 4 or 5% lq on Disco would be nice but afaik, on numerous occasions, the IMs have said that they want the loot quality % ID to be exclusive to crafting. So I'm indifferent. It would also piss off A LOT of Disco owners I'm talking hundreds
