How do people do TCC Wings room so fast?

Sure, if I take wings I can fly ahead past the bosses and whatnot, but like... its still down to RNG is it not? I've got a 1 in 4 chance of finding the exit quickly, otherwise its always the last path I check

I still have to search through the maze to find the exit

People expect me to get it done in like 10 seconds, which makes me think I'm missing something.
And from what I've seen with other people taking wings, they DO find the exit in like 10 seconds. Atleast people arent being unreasonable, but I just genuinely don't know how to do it any faster. I can only fly so fast

what am i missing?
How are people finding the exit near-instantly?
if it were something other than a maze I would just assume its a skill issue on my part, but since i have literally no control over it

 

There is a little trick where you spam press F3+A, a key bind for reloading chunks in Minecraft, which makes the terrain blink and allows you to see through the maze for a bit.
Stay in the middle of the maze, and scan 360 degrees for the white ring, the direction to the ring is usually straight ahead. You can also do this without having the wing.
