Death penalty

Hi guys, i am new to Wynn and i just wanna know what is punishment for dying in this game, i have died multiple times, and never got any punishment, it seems there should be some, because in any other game, there is punishment, so if there is punishment for dying, can someone explain it to me what you lose when you die?

OH NO NO NO NOO ITS HAPPENING THE ENDLESS CYCLE IS BEGINNING AGAIN

anyway, there used to be a system called soul points, where every time you died you would lose some, and the less you had the more items you would lose when you died. the community HAAATTTTTEDDD this with a burning passion, because you would lose items and the only way to get soul points BACK is to just wait and afk for them to regen.
In the most recent update, they removed soul points entirely, and now the only death penalty is losing Crafting Materials, and ingredients that are not being kept in your pouch.
I find it funny that as soon as they are gone people want a new penalty, we will never be satisfied!

penalty for dying is losing some ingredients and getting sent to the nearest respawn point (almost always a town)

 

I do NOT miss the soul points system

 

also if youre in a dungeon or whatever you'll lose the entry cost

 

The death penalty seems a bit extreme for wynncraft, don't you think?

 

maybe for hypixel skyblock players

 

yeah i was thinking 30 years in prison
