    Some stuff I've noticed:
    • PFinder UI is actively worse functionality-wise due to a lack of ability to see playercount in queue. It also causes music to stop working.
    • Annihilation had a terrible design motivated by a failed attempt to counter an apparently minor issue which it took Salted months to back down on. Backend issues apparently render it impossible to further improve Annihilation's spawning.
    • The Mercenary was broken the first time I tried to play it because the Scout did not spawn in Detlas due to the festival. The second time, the Scout was present, but I was a little sick of waiting half an hour for the festival minigame so didn't start the quest.
    • Aspects have basic errors in functionality that could have been noticed at the drawing board (the ridiculous amount of time investment needed to get them all, the 1/5 chance of actually getting an aspect you can use, and the inability to scrap excess aspects worsening the grind).
    • Gambits, while good in concept, have been executed poorly with most gambits boiling down to 'you can't run this gambit with your build' or 'it's basically free'.
    • Balancing issues result in a single Archetype on a single class being essentially the main choice for literally everyone in terms of raids and Annihilation.
There's a lot of cool things in this update, but they're very diffuse except for certain specific areas (Annihilation, Raids). For instance, some zombies - and only some! - have been updated to new models. There are new builds in Wynn, but they're very spread out (Mt. Wynn, ruins around the plains, some Mesa improvements, a rebuilt town). Most of the old areas that needed improvement did not get this improvement, instead getting a number of patch-jobs. It's better than nothing, but it's also not much, and we're not likely to see more than a few patch-jobs until after Fruma.

I know some of these are bugs. I don't care. The point is that there are a lot of issues. I don't really know how to feel about them.

I guess, in my mind, the update basically breaks even?

Fair, but I think aspects and gambits were done pretty well

Tbh I’d say the aspect grind is fine since you don’t need the max tier ones, those are there to keep raids relevant. What were the rewards before when you had the tomes? Nothing, especially not anything lootruns don’t give more of. Now they have more of an identity with the loot

Umm... I don't know what you're on about here. Sure, not every zombie got a new model, just like not every skeleton got a new model, but a good amount of them did and that's not even taking into consideration the hundreds of mobs that DID get models + AI + animations. I'm sure it's not an inconsistency, there is most likely a dev reason for this.. whether it be because of time management, lag concerns, or prioritizing other content. I wouldn't be surprised if more zombies get models in the future now that the update is out.

Also, for the builds... They aren't spread out at all. Pretty much every area of Wynn got some form of rebuild. You have the ruins outside of Ragni, new trails/pathways all throughout the province, new pigman ravines entrance, new decrepit sewers entrance, new infested pit entrance, new nomad camp, new lighthouse on the coast, new Mount Wynn, new roots of corruption, new Nemract cathedral, new savanna trees, new giant mushrooms, new Bremminglar, new Ternaves, new invaded barracks, and more.
