Annihilation isn't a he. I did not design the character to be masculine. Devils do not possess an identity and thus are genderless.

I requested Salted change the post to use the correct "it" as it would otherwise imply that Annihilation is male, or at the very least aligns itself with being masculine. It has no concept of these things, and exists to destroy.
As the lore of Bloodbath states:
"Blood. Carnage. Death. Destruction. This is all Annihilation knows. A fury written into its very core, a violet rage building from an endless War."

Annihilation was never female. Never in the course of design did I ever intend or plan for Annihilation to be male or female.
