Does Poison Trigger exploding

I'm working on a build and I was wondering if I used scarlet veil would my poison ticks trigger exploding and with uranium aegis consequently spreading the poison and exploding to other mobs? Also would the exploding damage be equal to the poison damage or would it still be my mele damage? Thanks!

 

I think exploding only works with your attacks not poison, but if you test it out lemme know I'm curious too :D
