Why do people hate scrap so much anyway? Couldn’t they have just buffed it?

You’re not wrong. Just that as of now it seems that they’re replacing scrap with another item (the iron nuggets in the picture) that does the same thing but is probably obtainable in a different way. I guess we’ll just have to see.

Wait, does this mean that there will be a change to the challenge game modes?
The scrap is gone, so that affects the crafted runs, but also this might mean that there will be another challenge game mode?

I personally think that it might have something to do with the roots of corruption based on the color schemes, might we be looking at a lower-level raid?

oh, and something you guys might have missed, there is a message in the image in Wynnic,

so we might be looking at more than just a raid, or a new challenge mode...

And the black and white drawings might have something to do with Bak'al, but we'll need to see more before we can draw any conclusions on that one...

it's interesting that the little fire swirl animation at the end of the new teaser videos looks like a hand for a few frames

Detlas' surroundings look nothing like in the teaser, so I guess we can add a rebuild of that to our exhaustive list of confirmed new things!

I doubt lvl 45 Ragni Soldiers were in Detlas before

 

They were added when the evacuation notice came out

In all fairness, the majority of people were in favor of the changes, but I do find both a post hinting at the removal of soul points and a change to the durability system eerily similar to an idea they may or may not add sometime down the line
Maybe wynncraft is finally clearing out their backlog and adding all the qol and cool ideas that they previously couldnt, much like with Gavel Reborn
