Shaman/Skyseer Help Level 96, attempting to understand

Not really a first time player, but my first time actually focusing on trying to piece together a build, except that I lack some "basic knowledge" about what type of damage I should go (I'm summoner btw, i got tired of playing Acolyte).

I was about to get the 2-piece Flashfire set (2 rings, i use another bracelet) for the atk speed bonus, but that's besides the point. It appeared in my mind that the -50 spell damage *could* reduce my summon's damage. I know if spell damage is reduced, Aura, uproot and all are reduced, but since summons come from totem but use "normal" attacks, do they count as Main Attack or Spell ?

And a question regarding Acolyte while i'm at it : Is Blood Sorrow really useful ? I barely used it when I was still playing aco because my healing situation out of just casting Aura (couldn't sustain the mana) is just atrociously horribly atrocious... So I thinked about switching it for smth else, but still don't know for what

 

Most builds dont run Blood Sorrow

 

All abilities are affected by Spell damage, not Main Attack damage unless stated otherwise

 

Sorry for late answer, I just had the thought. I heard that some shamans runs hybrid aco with Lunatic mask/hymn of hate. Do the Aura cast by Hymn of Hate on kill heals too or does it not get affected at all by aco archetype and thus doesn't heal/doesn't benefit from Blood Pool ?
