Grave Digger

I'm an acrobat assassin, level 36, combat level 23. IDK if I'm stupid and doing this quest wrong, but the little crypt by the priest is where I'm assuming the dead brother is. Regardless, this is absolutely ridiculously difficult. I try to whittle down the ranged skeletons with smoke bombs just for them to respawn a few seconds later. If I tried to kill them all at once I'd immediately get destroyed. And then there's this angelic inquisitor which one shots me, and I also just lost a legendary ring to this thing so I'm omega fucked. Seriously how am I supposed to do this dumb ass quest. Not one single quest in this game has been difficult so far, and now this is actually impossible. There has to be somethign I'm doing wrong right

In the church, you talk to the priest, get the rotten flesh from the zombie mobs walking around Nemract Swamp, return, walk down the steps in the crypt, and get the will

 

oh so the crypt isnt the giant graveyard, it is actually the tiny steps behind him that were never mentioned? my bad i guess i will go kill myself

But you cant get INTO saints row without completing the quest... something doesnt add up

Does the game not like, explicitly say that the boss room is behind the priest or something

To be fair not a lot of people are aware of the full definition of Crypt asides from "graveyard but like, different I guess"

(Me included until I read your post)
(Also a lot of people don't even realize that there's a tunnel behind the Priest so even if they knew what a crypt is the first place they would look would probably be the funny dead tomb place with a bunch of small buildings in it)
