Mage/Dark Wizard Help lategame lv 96 build

not until recently did my friends scream at me and tell me i'm playing this game completely wrong with how i had my skill tree built and now that i've fixed it i realized how bad my build is LOOOL

i js threw together what looked fun and now that i'm slowly getting back into the game after a break i'd like a build since idk what i'm doing
survivability is my main issue i have issues with getting 3-shot melted by most enemies esp. fire ones

swap to morph-stardust at level 100, and i guess swap to cascade at 98? unsure about that one
but either way i might've screwed up the tree

put extra skill points into defense if you need the ehp, but otherwise you can probably just dump into intelligence for lower spell costs
try not to get yelled at by ur friends for using morph tho D;

someone else make a riftbender tree for this if they want it i cant build mage for shit

 

this looks fine but is there a way to optimize this to use ophanim instead? i thought that one was really fun
