    Hi everyone.

Today marks my 10th anniversary of playing Wynncraft. It seems crazy to me that when I started, I was going through exams at school, and now I'm a fully-fledged adult with a job, partner, pets etc. And I'm proud that Wynncraft is still a part of me at this stage of my life.

Over the years, I've completed every quest, dungeon and raid; I've reached max level on every class; I've done lootruns, professions up to 118+ in every profession, guild wars; I've collected mythics, become rich, built stuff in housing, got stuck in with events and communities and played for over 4000 hours total. In my eyes, I've done everything Wynncraft has to offer and there's been months where I've only logged on each day for my daily crate and that's all, but I'm psyched for 2.1 and the future of Wynncraft. I'm definitely sticking around :)

I thought I'd share some of my favourite memories from Wynncraft and invite you all to share some too:

    1. Gavel hype back in 2015 - it was intense and kinda disappointing in terms of all of the delays, but was so worth it when it came out. Xmas 2015 was incredible.

    2. The OG grinding. Farming silverfish in a sunken temple in Almuj desert, ToL guardian guys, zombies from on top of fences xD

    3. Counting down for each release trailer, I still get such an excited feeling when I see the 'News and Patches' section get updated on the forums in the hopes of content news.

    4. Honestly, playing with all of my friends over the years. When I play Wynncraft, I tend to be a bit of a try-hard and grind endlessly, but when playing with mates, it's so fun to just mess about and parkour around Detlas and just have a great time.

    Shoutouts:

meganuke_1/ChromaFusion (For getting me into Wynncraft in the first place)
Linus_Kolb (The very first friend I made in Wynncraft who I didn't know irl)
    Emalio
    Nicolqi_
(These last two guys are incredible and I owe it to them for keeping me going when my OG account got hacked and I had to start from scratch on a new Minecraft account)

I always tell people I work with to do what they love, because it's the best way to stay happy in life. And that's what I do; for me, Wynncraft is what I love.

You mentioning grinding silverfish brought up vivid memories of sitting in a quarry in the desert, grinding away for mashed insects for the original Drought Sands quest lol. So much has changed this last decade, I almost miss some of these shitty fetch quests. Keyword: almost

Seems like I'm not the only one who remembers the hours of grinding silverfish in the desert for like 50 xp per minute. Reaching lvl 70 (or 75) required real dedication back then, and getting a bob's mythic was the ultimate achievement. Sometimes I get a bit sentimental with the nostalgia to pre-1.14... Back before the texture pack, OG powders, no elements, identification was completely different, no shaman. It was a simpler time back then. I almost want to experience that time again.

But then I remember the lag... oh my god, the lag. That's how I make the nostalgia go away xd

Wynncraft has come so far. Here's to another 10 years!

I played a couple years ago on an account that is now lost to history (thanks mojang) and even if you held a gun to my head I would not remember if it was pre or post-texture pack

Yeah, I remember the Gavel trailer well.

I still watch the old trailers in the run up to a new trailer releasing lol

God I just looked up the trailers and realised Corkus was released SEVEN years ago. I remember when Corkus was an April fools joke lol.
