Anyways. I'm Galaxias. I was previously stationed in the Silent Expanse but was relieved by @TrapinchO, who I see you've already met, to come here.

Oh, my bones are plenty stretched. It seems like every other day that something bad happens to the recruits coming in. I had one group that was being chased by a beast I can only describe as an oversized corruption panther.

 

Stretched towards good food and ale, Galaxias!

Not sure what to make of the panther though, it almost seems like the Corruption knows who is fresh and inexperienced...

 

I thought for sure with the Corrupter of Worlds and Bak'al gone, the Corruption would have fallen back, but it has only grown stronger...

 

Merely two generals. Not even "gone", considering how many times was Corrupter killed and I am not willing to believe in Bak'al's death until I see him die in front of me and his body torn to pieces and frozen a dozen times over.

The problem is in the roots, my friend, no one seems to pay attention to them. Well, besides Orikal, and he doesn't have the means. We would need to systematically start destroying the offshoots until we got to the Roots of Corruption and then somehow destroyed those. This would probably leave the province completely undermined, bit I don't think anyone would care about that at that point...

 

Perhaps we should pay Orikal a visit.
