I NEED TO RANT REAL QUICK

before I say anything I love wynncraft and this whole thing is my fault so no hate towards wynncraft at all.

im gonna make this as short as I can cause im tired but here it goes.

today I wanted to do the ??? quest for the gear because im trying to speed level my warrior. so I make a party and wait for hours until someone shouts saying they need a party for the quest and I end up joining theirs.

everything goes smoothly until I get to the part where im getting the spoon. I enter the mansion and realize I cant do anything cause I never talked to the person outside the mansion. so now im stuck and I had to /kill to get out. I redo everything talk to the person get the spoon /kill again and continue the quest.

LAB puzzles went fine but at the end I had to /kill again cause wherever it teleports you, you cant get out without a quest or something.

finally we make it to the meteor, teleport to the final NPC. I right click him, and nothing happens. It just so happens that since I started tracking the mansion quest earlier for the spoon, nothing from the ??? quest got registered and it was all for nothing. Thankfully the guy(IGN: jwtbh) who shouted for the party in the first place gave me 30le for helping him finish the quest. Which literally doubled my net worth so that made my time very worth it.

Still frustrated though I decide to make another party so I go back to the mansion to grab another shovel and mid way through that I check partyfinder, and I find out that someone else is helping people speed run the quest. So I join.

with another /kill to get out the mansion, and some teleport scrolls we were already back to the LAB and solving the puzzles extremely fast.

next thing I know, were at the white meteor about to solve it again, and yes before joining I made sure I had the ??? quest tracked again. though as I get to the final NPC for the second time, I right click him, and once again, nothing.

At this point I'm done with this quest and im just gonna buy an xp set with my 30le. so I told the party thanks as if it worked for me and left.

through out all the scrolls and /kills I lost 10SP lol good thing I just made a website for that

 

Just did it for a third time and it WORKED!!!!! I cant explain how happy I am right now.

About your problem though,

I think(?) you have to be at the right stage of ??? to even access the final npc. Could it be that you just didnt have the inventory space(6 slots) needed to complete it?
Moreover, you can still make progress on a quest without having it tracked.

I think you know this by now but the spoon can be re-used, meaning that it could have been kept since the first time (provided this wasn't a good while ago)

I wasn't sure about the spoon since it gives different dialog after right clicking it again but thanks for the tip! hmmm and about the inventory space, that could have been the issue although the first time I did the quest it told me my inventory was to full to finish the quest this time it just said nothing. Also might be worth mentioning I noticed the NPC only spawned when my teammates walked in the room, but the time that it worked the NPC had already spawned in when I teleported.
