SPOILER I think I just found my new favorite NPC

Be me.

Be on your way to Jofash Docks to start a quest you plan to do without a guide, unless you get stuck.

Seaskipper Captain tells me Jofash is populated by weirdos.

Arrive.

A NPC raspberry merchant fires me up a series of cannons to reach a sky island where I can pick as many raspberries as I want.

There is one.

There is one bush, with one berry. Nothing else.

I laugh out loud.

I go back to Jofash Docks.

A Jofash Resident NPC turns around when I talk to him, and he has comically and uncomfortably large eyes.

There's not much else to this guy. He seems as surprised to see me as I am to see him.

I chuckle.

A normal corpse decoration is lying at the side of the street, but with green particles. I click on it. Turns out it's not a corpse, it's a sleeping Jofash Resident NPC.

I chortle.

I go to another Jofash Resident NPC.

His dialogue options are identical to the big-eyed one, and they all seem bland, normal, and unsuspicious.

Except... wait... what? Dialogue option 2... it says... "What's your favorite type of bread?"

And that son of a gun has the audacity to respond:

"(1/99) Well I'm glad you asked!"



I am around (50/99) now and am absolutely buckled in. This guy has not dropped clues. He has not dropped hints. He has suggested absolutely nothing that could lead to any meaningful adventures, quests, caves, or secrets. This is utterly unhelpful, and what's worse, he's still on topic. There are no tangents. No distractions. No interjections from passersby. He has solely and independently maintained this one-sided conversation with comments that are obviously and directly related to the one topic of interest: bread. And I am hooked.

May the Wynncraft gods smile upon whoever blessed us with this delightful man. We do not deserve him. We are unworthy.

hasn't the bread enthusiast been at more than one festival? or am i tweaking
