"restart" at a lvl 45

I have not played the game in over 10 years, and I was a LvL 45 when I stopped. Now I started again and I "restarted" the game with lvl 1 quests, but I am still lvl 45. What should I do, just create a completely new character? I think I can not skip the lvl 1 quests as it kindof builds ontop of each other right?

A ton has changed since then so I’d recommend starting fresh and seeing all the new stuff from the start.
If you wanted to tho you could always just do the lvl 1 quests on your lvl 45 class and go from there, really up to whether you want to restart or not. You can always come back to this class tho, so there’s no harm in trying out a new one.
