I used to play Wynncraft a couple years ago but I stopped gaming in general due to heart issues; I've been going through a steady treatment and I remembered Wynncraft so I started playing again It's been a few days now, and I found out about the forum, but I'm still incredibly awkward so I find it a bit difficult to find some friends here and in game.

If you don't mind a lower combat level player [50] whose awkard, has a german accent and chronically online, I'm your guy! It would be nice to meet some new people and have a bit of a social circle here.

I see the last time you were actively serving was two years ago. What had you been doing in your last two years? Perhaps trying to find out more about your home in Fruma? After I finish the investigation in the Silent Expanse, that's likely where I'll be put in charge next, if something else doesn't pop up before then...

Still after Galaxias though... those were the times when I was catching the recruits by the neck when they went through the gate and made them listen to my welcome... much better than the War, any of them... but perhaps worse than when I was with the Doguns? Oh that was a time of wonder... their magic and language are simply incredible... Wait. Oh. Right. You are here.

Sorry! As one grows old they begin to ramble and reminiscense of the old times. But hey, you are here, and youngling ready for the world! And even more special one, fighting agaist your illness! If you forgive the joke, what was it? Too many jumpscares? Sorry, I just can't help myself. Tell me, what motivates you the most? Do you yearn to learn the secrets of this world, or pehaps just to see its beauty? Maybe your desires lie in the glory of combat, or in a group of friends?

If you and Galaxias go to the famous Nemract Bar, take me with you! It has been a while since I began my research, and while it is very valuable time, it is also so lonely... I don't remember when I spoke to another person besides the occasional recruit... I think it is time for me to go out into the world again, stretch my legs, shoot the bow again, see The Great Bridge and visit the Twain's manor... If you would like to accompany me, it would be a pleasure. And of course if you need help with anything (especially the the weird ??? you will encounter later in your career), just let me know and I will come! With some luck, I will be here, with a little less, I will be in the Ragni Library.

As if it was any good. Do you not remember that arcanist who tried to forcefully get through the gate? I still remember seeing her foot flying over the mountain and landing right in front of a brand new recruit! Her friends said they had never seen such a violent explosion... Or that one guy who tried to return with the caravan? You have heard his screams yourself, you told me the wybels couldn't sleep for days afterwards.

Trust me, if there is one place you don't want to go to, it is the damned Fruma. Besides, the Corruption is still a threat. Though it has been somewhat calm in the last two decades, you shouldn't underestimate it. You don't remember the times before the Battle of Ragni, Galaxias. Literal mountains of undead, scaling the city walls through the bodies of their dead "comrades". And yes, I know about the trench. It was so full you might as well not count it. Corrupted trees, animals, birds... the birds... the birds! Hide! Hide! The BIRD ARE COMING HIDE!

I am sorry you had to see this, it's just that... old times sometimes return whether we want it or not. We are safe now, that's what is important.

 

You do realize that the Corkians escaped Fruma, right? We might be able to sneak in the same way they snuck out. Why do you think I spent so much time over there in Corkus? It wasn't because of the Factory.

Also, how are the Doguns? It's been forever since we freed them. I haven't been there since.

 

You mean going through the mountains? I heard a few stories and I doubt it was but a fraction of all the attempts. Besides, what good will it be if there is such a way? There is magic, strong magic. When they went out, they lost their memories. Who knows what will happen when you get in? And even if you get there "safely", what are you going to do then? Overthrow the regime, dispel the defenses and open the border? The Nether will freeze first, my friend.

Sorry to dispel your ideas, but I really don't think that's a good idea.

What if... no, that wouldn't work, no... but if... do we even have enough people? Maybe if we get some Doguns... no, there are way too many issues with that... also no... no... That would provoke a war, which is surely what we want... I hate you Galaxias, now I have to ponder that idea.

Oh, excellent! We managed to fix Courag a bit, so they are, though reluctantly, returning there. The whole area is locked out for everyone but Doguns (and me, hehehe) to make it calm. Oh, and a few sacred sites were dug up! Doguns have where to go to die again.

 

I might have to come visit once we finish investigations in the Silent Expanse.

Hello! It's lovely to meet you; I had actually heard of Wynncraft just after The Silent Expanse, it wasn't until the Spellbound era when I had the opportunity to explore Wynn myself.

Unfortunately, I developed an incurable heart condition called Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, or otherwise known as POTs. This resulted in a lot of trips to a handful of different medical professionals in order to treat my unstable symptoms. Happy to report I'm doing better though! And with this improvement, I've returned to Wynncraft with a renewed courage to meet new people! I would also love to educate myself on the history of Wynncrafts lore. :D

 

That is a nasty one! And a weird one, to be honest. But well, the important thing is that you are here and in a good shape! We are a community of warriors, so meeting many of us can be rough, sometimes strange, but once you get past the shell most of us have a sweet heart :) And as for me, I already consider you as one of my own, any scholar is welcome at my house! I am saying that figuratively, of course, we soldiers have only overfilled quarters... But I think you get it. By the way, if fighting won't work out for you, the Library of Ragni needs a new librarian...

Before telling you much, I strongly recomming going to other people and helping them with their problems. Though it might seem mundane, it will take you to the strangest of places and expose you to history never seen before. Nesaak in fact is the monument to one of the most incredible stories of the world, I wholly recommend you going there and... poking around. After that, find me and I will tell you all you want to know!
