Melee heavy class?

Which class would you suggest for a less spell spammy build and more heavy melee focused? I rather enjoy the light bender for the heal and orbs but i do want to make a second character so I don't get too burnt out only playing one character. I've been playing a trickster rogue atm, but there's always something that just feels lacking. Granted I know I'm only level 40 on it. Which would you recommend and what archetype for that class?

 

Uhm, Acrobat is assassin
Warrior has best Hmelle dmg with Fallen+Paladin mixes

 

archer also has good melee with tstack and hmelee twains arc

 

How complicated is acrobat? I'm kinda slow with the technical stuff so when i saw stuff about constantly being in the air and comboing things i figured itd be hard for me

I do like twains arc on my archer. If I wanted to go for more of a higher attack speed though would it be better to just go a poison build?

 

acrobat is all spells
just lacerate-hop-multihit-repeat.
dash in between if you really need more speed.
when doing damage, just get above the enemy and look down. (blade fury strongly recommended)

poison is kinda weak, and reapplying it just refreshes the duration.
It's almost always more dps to just heavy melee, spellspam, or tierstack

 

I'm sorry I'm fairly new and my highest is a 78 mage atm. what is tierstack?

The idea behind tstack is to use a Super Slow weapon and use gear that gives +1 attack speed, to make it Super Fast. I think...

 

Everything I've seen about Shade is that its the worst assassin archetype due to it only having single target damage and almost no form of aoe. But i'm guessing since its single target the melee attacks would be crazy?

Ohhh, okay. That might be what I work towards. I just want simpler gameplay on a character cause sometimes I just wanna be lazy and go pew pew lol

 

Well, if you wanna be lazy+hmelle+pew pew then Archer lol
Archer tstack or Archer Hmelle both are good choices

 

ppl commonly use something like Inferno heavy melee for shadestepper
activate courage, vanish, smack, or some variant of this strategy
the problem is that it's still just generally weaker than spell acrobat/trickster/trickrobat

tierstack archer is basically the definition of this lol
(also, archer tstack is actually viable in endgame with tierstack epoch giving 200-300k dps.)

 

Thank you both! How would I go about building this though? I've been struggling to level my archer which is around 60 right now just cause the damage seems so minimal compared to my mage and im just kinda struggling to do some of the harder quests.

And any build suggestions for once I'm actually able to level to the endgame (im guessing 100-106?)
