F-ed up Terr names

Ok I was warring today and decied to shout something funny after war and relized that avo's hq is on a terr called MINE base plains...... Why? Why is it not named MINING base plains. Think about it, if you are in a mine would the activity you partake in not be called mining, and would the place that let you rest and refule called a MINING base? Not to mention that the terr next to it is called MINING base upper and MINING base lower. AND YET THE TERR NEXT TO THEM IS CALLED MINE BASE PLAINS WHEN IN FACT IT SHOULD BE CALLED MINING BASE PLAINS. Think about it.

 

Everytime I learn about more of these territory inconsistencies I get ever so closer to locating the nearest CT and breaking into their house to change these territories.

because it's the plains base for the mine? a mine is an object/place, mining is the activity. it's not incorrect to name it that, but it is inconsistent with the other two territories. "Northern mine entrance" is a context where 'mine' is more obviously correct but "mine base" is also correct - it's a base of operation for the mine to operate from.
