i don't know much about the process of making art, but could they not require photoshop files with submissions? would that not show that the art was created by a human? im sure you could probably fake it with ai 'art' but there's still other indicators that it's ai generated and it introduces a barrier that will prevent most people who want to cheat with ai because it takes less effort, as they're immediately required to put effort in even to cheat
