your art style is really cool!

 

took me a minute to get to responding to this. i use a program called heavypaint which has a (much beloved by me) feature of color jitter, which is essentially that each bit of a brush stroke is a different color. a lot of my color choice is then informed by that. heavypaint then also has the feature of applying filters directly to a layer, the ones i used on the glitches was the pixelate and noise filters.

i was primarily thinking about tv static and other screen related issues (like tearing). in part because i think it's neat but also because i think approaching visual glitches in an otherwise realistic scenario is similarly fascinating.
