Wynntils spamming /friend list command

For some reason Wynntils keeps spamming the /friend list command in chat even though i've not actually typed it to begin with, and it keeps flooding the chat. anyone know how to fix this? it's really annoying

 

what version are you using?

 

whichever the latest 1.20.2 wynntils version is, i always update whenever i get the prompt

well yes i know, but a good portion of wynncraft players use the mod so i figured the forums would be a good place to ask without having to join a discord server

 

and I say use the right forums for the right discussions?

You're facing a bug in Wynntils, go report the bug to Wynntils
Maybe there is an easy fix to it already and you just need to look?
it's less effort than going the wynncraft forum route, just leave the wynntils discord server if you don't want to stay

Because right now you're asking people to basically google stuff for you because you don't want to

 

I did already look man, I'm not gonna post to the forums and wait for people to reply if I can just google it first to get the answer. I searched and didn't find anything relevant or useful so I figured I'd post to the more popular place for Wynncraft discussion for help. I don't exactly see that asking on a Wynncraft forum for help with the most popular Wynncraft mod is that big of a deal.

 

And yet so many people say "Just use Wynntils to solve (insert issue here)." People have asked questions about popular mods on the forums, because it's quick, it's easy, and there's likely someone who knows the answer.

If you're going to say "Not on this forum," you may as well go after all of the people who reference mods in their posts.

 

I guess what they meant is that there might be a chance that you'll find more information about Wynntils on the platform where the Wynntils people hang out, rather than this subforum that is used by 9 people on a good week.
