I just realised that I've been playing on Wynncraft for over 10 years

I cannot believe it's been that long, I still remember the conversation I had with my friends after school where they told me about this super cool new minecraft server, and we all went online when we got home and played together. I still have them on my friend's list and I'm the only person on my whole list that still ever comes online. Sometimes I wonder if any of them have come back online over the years. Tbh I think I'd prefer to not find out for sure, the melancholic thought is more important to me than knowing for sure.
I've never really been a hardcore player - I only got my first class to 105 last week - but I've played on and off several times over the years and it's truly been incredible to see how far this game has come and all the improvements and the continuing support from the devs and the community. Hell, I still have my old animal and skeleton dungeon keys in my bank - the only thing left from my original characters.
Srry for a bit of a downer post but I just wanted to reflect on a couple things.

it's not anywhere near as big a part of my life as i imagine it would be for a moderator but it's given me so much enjoyment and so many good memories which i'm so thankful for

 

Same, I joined around nine years ago and i only created my forums account 2 years ago. I was certainly missing out, theres a lot of interesting things that happen here.
The smartest decision i made was keeping my archer i made way back when, which i had basically never done before for any other game. Time really flies man.

 

I'm right there with ya. I'm the only one of my friends from ten years ago who still plays. Utterly amazing seeing the changes throughout the years and can't wait for what they have in store. Like @Tzelofachad said, here's to 10 more.

(I too have been an on and off player through the years, hence my last seen date, but I still parooze the forums and discord now and then even when I haven't played).
