Sharpshooter and Battle Monk Questions

I don't think I fully get these two archetypes, despite having played each for a bit and reading abilities.
I don't really know what I'm supposed to do with them.
Like, do you spam uppercut or charge or bash or scream?
Do you spam arrow bomb or phantom ray?

Some guidance would be greatly appreciated.

 

Depends on playstyle!
Battle monk has a fucktillion playstyles, wich can ALL be hybridized with fallen and paladin
There's bashscream, with tempest and thunderclap, uppercut surfing, charge spam, many many! It really depends on your build.

Sharpshooter just cycle storm and bomb and try to get all hits from phantom ray to hit before casting it again

 

sharpshooter (spell) game plan is bomb once in a while to keep the damage increase debuff active on your target (coursing restraints) and stack up damage using phantom ray (decimator + focus amplifies damage)
sharpshooter (melee) game plan is again, to bomb once in a while for the debuff uptime and use triple arrows + homing to deal the most damage (while maintaining focus when possible)
you can also play a twain's arc heavy melee thing but its really just not as good as tstack still viable tho
