I'm slightly worried about this as in 2.03, mythics were admittedly too common, with a roughly 1 mythic per 1000 pulls rate. But since 2.0.4, I have personally had 8000+ pulls with only 1 mythic and no one I know has had much better odds than that. By making them rarer again, I fear that people will get bored of lootrunning because the main reward from lootrunning is so incredibly unlikely - it could take an average of 10+ high quality lootruns before getting a mythic - and remember that mythics aren't guaranteed to be good! Imagine getting bad rolls on a Revenant after 10, nearly 2 hour lootruns over the span of a few weeks - this is where I am at the moment, and it kinda sucks.

I don't want this all to sound negative, so I'll point out that I love lootruns and I think the quality of every update recently is fantastic, but currently I feel like they've pushed mythics to become too rare, and it ruins the fun a bit.

 

The community was the one complaining about mythic prices. This proves it was the communities fault the prices were low

 

i know that he was referring to the nerf from 2 weeks ago, i am just recomplaining.

 

100% Agreed, since the new nerf in mythic chances (after they were already nerfed in the 2.03s hotfix) getting a mythic is almost impossible.

After hundreds of pulls you can really feel how harder it is.

And like you said, getting a good roll on a mythic is already hard enough (the corkian tools don't help enough), so making getting one this hard is just not necessary.

Some of the complaniers were just people mad that most people could now get mythic items without the soul crushing old methods.

I managed to get this bug 2 times already (before this fix), hopefully it's fixed now.
