quest got jammed

    so I was doing the meaningful holiday quest and I got the task of going to the farmer (nick's friend). but when I talked to him the quest didnt advance. I tried a few things like reconnecting and talking to the farmer again but then nick told me to follow him yet the quest didnt advance. now Im in a state that the farmer is telling me to follow nick to a portal and nick gives me the line he did before I went to the farmer.
