SPOILER Official OST Hidden Logs

We just got a new place for the OST! an official youtube channel!!! YEAAAAAAH!!!

But thats not the point of this thread. If you pay attention, the description of each video has a 'log' in it. these logs all seem to follow a format:

Log: [level]-[number][class]
with the level being the aproximate level the content is intended to be played at, the number potentially being for when multiple things are at the same level but im not sure on that, and the class being.... there

why do they specify the class?

it seems that there is W for warrior, M for mage, Ar for archer, As for assassin, and S for shaman
are there different characters? this seems to imply that the player exists as every class seperately, but i might be thinking too far into this

removed content such as bottom of the food chain saying "The pages are torn. As if the memories ceased to exist." and stuff like the SE songs sometimes have garbled log names

reading through all of them, the mage seems to focus on intelligence in many of their quotes, which makes sense.
the assassin is kinda edgy and prideful, as they tend to gloat about things like their sense of direction of the strength of their knife
the shaman focuses on nature and often 'feels' the environment around them
the warrior is adventurous but often not very brave, frequently wanting to leave in bad situations
the archer is kinda hard to pin down but is generally very serious

theres also some other odd ones. 'A Family Fractured' has a poem called the fable of crows; the poem is an obvious metaphor for the twains but also is out of place compared to the others, being incredibly long and with no apparent author

That's really cool, I'll have to read through them all for myself some time.

Also, I'm happy that we finally have an official place for all of Wynncraft's songs.

maybe just a reference to the dungeon being reworked?

 

It may just be me, but it seems a few of the characters die as the logs progresses. The warrior is killed off pretty early, the shaman makes it to central gavel around the time of aldorei’s secret. The assassin seems to get lost and die in the canyon of the lost. Only the mage and archer make it to the silent expanse, and the mage continues to go on to fruma.

I don’t agree, the assassin is in the SE lootrun theme log, and the warrior shows up in the Ozoth Spire ost log. We obviously don’t have all logs yet, so if any character appears as missing, it’s probably just because we haven’t gotten their logs from those areas/level ranges yet.

 

They have since add new videos disproving my point. At the time there was no logs with the classes at that progression.

YES the countdown to corruption has correct volume scaling now. I did notice that the log is torn despite the song still being used ingame in some other spots

also appears for the removed hallowynn mask quest and in the countdown to corruption(which is used mainly for the removed secret clock dungeon)

Yes I saw that, which is why I said the mage made it to fruma. However, the new videos disprove my theory anyway.

Log 105-0M: It is easy to forget the deeper meaning of simple ideas. Popularity appears to eliminate an idea's original purpose. Perhaps, it makes the idea much stronger to those that truly know.
