Hi, I'm Ozzni, ignore the underscore

I've been playing Wynncraft off and on for a few years, restarting my character every time I come back, using the online map, but now I notice that there's a forum, and also I feel like I can actually invest time into the server. Been playing Mage all this time, and only just got told recently that I was apparently supposed to start with the Warrior because it's the simplest. But hey, teleport and heal are fun. Excited to learn all the ways I've been inadvertently handicapping myself with horrible gear and leveling decisions, and talking about other stuff!

Thanks, I agree with the sentiment but it's entirely possible that ten years down the line I'll be bleeding out on the side of the road because of a rather potent disagreement about poison damage, and this thread will pop into my mind in a final moment of clarity, in which I curse myself for not heeding your warning. Or I meet some great new friends! Anything is possible.

By the way, warrior might be easier to learn, but any class is good to start out with. It really doesn’t matter which one you pick.

 

Welcome young mage! Finally find your way here, I see! How did I not see you when you came through the castle gate, I swear I see everyone, even when you try to use your fancy magic tricks! Interesting... The important thing is that I found you :D

Tell me, recruit, what do you seek from this world? Do you seek a challenge? In combat, endurance, knowledge? Do you want to meet new friends? What will make you march on when your squad is dead, murdered by the undead, with you on the brink of joining them? Because that is what you will will have to endure if you are to finish your mission. This world is ruthless, unforgiving. The Corruption is not something you could reason with. Either you beat it or it will beat you.

 

Quite often I regret my decision to start as shaman in my first playthrough, then I realise that I do not care, and It is challenging but fun.
