get stuff without emeralds

Im doing a challenge where I can't use emeralds (this includes id'ing objects), what stuff, aside from stuff in dungeons, can i get without using emeralds?


(preferably boots and accesories and lvl 30-40)

Crafting requires tools which require emeralds. I don't think it's possible to get much stuff besides quest stuff without emeralds. You say you don't want to do dungeons, but I think that that's your best bet.

Can't you still grab a set of tier 1 tools from the tutorial?

Either way, dungeon items are your best bet for most of the game. You can get stuff in Rymek because Rymek uses gold as currency (I guess it depends on how exactly you define the terms for this run). You can use the Olux Prized weapons. You can also use the Jungle Village jewelry and the gear from the Entamis Village in Dernel Jungle. There may be other shops that use alternative currency, but those are all I remember right now. Bob's Mythic weapons and Hive gear will be really strong options, especially the weapons.

 

They've changed the tutorial a lot since then. Tools haven't been a part of the tutorial since about 1.20.0. They changed it to just give you common weapons instead from a cave.

I think there's still some on the ground in the outdoor portion just before getting to the castle. Either way, I dare, I freaking dare anyone to grind to level 100+ in gathering profs using tier 1 tools.
