    Summary: Crate Bug?
    Description: Hey! Loving the server and just recently bought a rank that included 5 crates to open. The first 4 I opened were fine ( Got commons :P ) but the last one I opened landed on a rare creeper egg, I think it was a creeper disguise or something but I was shocked a second later when it gave me a common sheep disguise :(
    I just want to know what happened, is this a visual bug? Or is there any way to check if I got jipped?

    Im sorry I dont have any video of it happening :(

    1. Repeatedly making the same bug report over and over again is not going to make the Staff want to fix the bug.
    2. The Staff cannot snap their fingers and fix bugs.
    3. It's a visual bug. Visual bugs are probably not going to take priority over gameplay bugs, especially when regarding a cosmetic.

    also i dont know if this can be fixed at all, whether it happens or not is based on server lag. this has been an issue for years actually

    Bro they can't just prioritize a minor bug in the game over other more important issues like upcoming content and actually game-breaking bugs. You don't get pinged in your response unless it's gamebreaking or smthn along the lines of that. Don't throw a hissy fit over a visual bug which gave you a bad cosmetic instead of a slightly bad cosmetic.

    Also please don't ever repost your bug report in this subforum, it clutters the forums with useless content.

    Also, the staff has a no replace policy on lost items, especially without proof, because it’s really easy for people to claim lost mythics or whatnot and demand the staff give them one. Shit happens.

    Before I continue, I just want to let you know (as other people have informed you without actually telling you where the section is), there is a forums section here for placing your bug reports. You can't post here normally, you have to fill out the form given to you by clicking 'Report a bug' and it'll automatically generate a report based on your description. Bug reports placed there will actually get looked at by the right people. Bug reports placed here will, more often than not, get overlooked as staff tend to gravitate more towards looking at the official channels.

    To answer your question, no, you were not scammed.

    Crates' rewards are determined as soon as you place them down. The fancy spinning animation is just that: an animation. It has no effect on what you actually get. Almost all the time, these animations match up with what you actually get--for instance, in the first four crates you said you opened.

    For reasons outside of our control, whether we be Wynncraft staff without access to the source code, or even Wynncraft developers with access to the source code, these animations sometimes (rarely) do not match up. This could be for a number of reasons: network latency, packet dropping, even floating point precision errors.

    Unfortunately, Wynn has a strict no-return policy on lost items. This does not count as a lost item, because it was a graphical error, an issue with the display beyond our control, not something you actually had and then lost. This policy is marginally looser on store-bought items where it's possible to prove you actually purchased an item via receipts from purchasing providers like PayPal, but I would not count it as it only applies to not getting ranks/pets/bombs/etc. rather than not getting what you want from it. That would be like blaming the store for your double XP bomb not getting you to level 100: it makes it go faster, it doesn't do it for you.

    In the future:
    - Post your bugs through the proper channels.
    - Do not repost bug reports, even through official channels. They all get read and handled eventually, if not expediently. This does not put it at the top of our list and does not make us reply to it faster: it annoys forums users who have to scroll through duplicate threads in unrelated subforums.
