Mage/Dark Wizard Help New Player - Anything I need to know?

I am currently level 48 and playing an Arcanist build (but I am kind of just putting points in as I go). I saw a lot of high-level builds, but nothing really "Do this at Lvl 10 -> Lvl 20 -> etc etc"

I am enjoying mage, but I honestly don't think I really care what archetype I play as. I mostly solo, but I would eventually like to join a guild or at least have a couple friends to run dungeons/raids with. Personally, haven't done any raids, I have just been hitting quests here and there and finding grind spots to grab a couple levels every so often.

Any advice for my class? I'm open to anything

 

Just keep playing the game. I recommend using morph to play all the way up to 100+. The items are cheap and easy to find. The set helps give you buffs as you go too. Other than that have fun cause end game has some good content.

my advice would be to know how Arcanist functions with Thunderstorm
if you already know then just keep playing the game as you want

 

I would recommend picking Thunderstorm (it's on the left side of the third skill points page) and then invest into Arcane Transfer and its upgrades.
