Finally switching to 1.16+, hyped to see the use of new features and world improvements with new blocks!

  Happy to see i made it in the patch notes :)

 

I really like this patch, but honestly the very best thing is that we can unlock ironman characters now. If I still had class slots or if we get a 15th class slot one day I'd level the class as ultimate ironman (it's just more fun than when I have perfect gear for every level) and unlock it at endgame :)

Hopefully lootruns will be more consistent now, the old system was pretty polarising.
Also I want to see how far you can stack the sacrifice mechanic now (1k pull lootrun when)

 

What is this new Wynncraft where the update changes are consistently well-thought-out and interesting? The last three 2.0.x updates have all been great.

The new lootrun beacon designs seem really interesting, but I also get the sense that it strongly favors long runs.

One thing I would like to mention is that under the prior values for Curses, most of them were negligible while Resistance curses were crippling - just getting unlucky with resists could easily set you back the equivalent of dozens of boons. The new values aren't listed here, but I do hope this effect is accounted for.

Great to see the addition of better travel in the Silent Expanse. It'd be nice to also have a path between the ruined city and Lutho that's not so roundabout.

finally adding new blocks to the wynnpack?? :eyes:

 

maybe I'm dumb but whats the point of end rewards sacrificing? Why would I add 50 pulls to my next run intstead of just pulling the 100?

 

Incidentally, from what I've heard from lootrunners (corroborated by my own experience) the optimal run length was actually more like 1 hour, for reasonable skills.

 

If you don’t like your rewards you can keep stacking them

 

How do you get end reward pulls now?

 

Oh I see now, I thought you had to sacrifice before opening the chest. Makes more sense now
