Stuck in the bridge battle in Recover the Past

I get through the quest till I need Reynauld and move onto beginning to defend the bridge, I went through the first fight with with the summoner and then this prompt comes up to slay 20 enemies to bring the Scorchwight which is the next big guy to come, did that and slayed the Scorchwight but after that there's no prompt to slay more or any dialogue happening and its just endless hordes of enemies so I'm at a loss for what to do next for the quest. Suggestions?

I did and went back to Reynauld to start the battle on the bridge again but the fight was still bugged like last time.
