Guide Journey Map Illegal for wynncraft?

Got a couple of friends, who can't run minecraft versions above the general 1.17+ versions. I tried looking into wynntils but as far as I know that wynntils stopped supporting 1.12.2 version for wynntils (I was using it and the quest book stopped working and they said they moved to supporting 1.19.2 artemis). Currently I'm looking for guidance to help my friends play wynncraft alongside me. Yes I know that we can play it without wynntils but they are old wynncraft players (not that old, like 2016-17 ish players) and got lost without the help of wynntils or even a map.

However, I've asked around the discord community, Joruney map is illegal only if mob radar and cave map (also cave detection, i think? im not sure what that means, a dev of wynn mentioned it when i asked in chat)

Is anyone able to provide a list of things to disable when using journey map?

 

Mob radars are illegal, as well as maps with things that you can't see from the sky, so caves too.

 

If you can't use wynntils (which is optimal due to how it works) you can use Xaero's Fair Play minimap

Journeymap might be allowed if you disable those features, but if I were you I'd just play it safe and go with Xaero's
