Opinion on Xebec?

So xebec is a necklace from cgg that gives some water defense at the expense of others, gives -2spell cost for all spells and -10/5 mr, and has 100int req. To me it kind of seems like the opposite of anxiolitic, because if you cast more than 1 spell a second it becomes beneficial. It's also the only necklace that has -1st and -3rd spell cost raw. I don't know if it is really useful, considering that at 100int you spells have minimal cost, but considering this necklace is made for spellspam, ig you take any sustain you can get. Anyways I find this item really wierd and I wonder if any1 here uses it, and if it's good for it's usage. Maybe macro spellspam mage ca' see some use in it, but 100intel is difficult to get unless you use lament (lament arcanist gamering, that's where the meta is at)

 

If you play acrobat, its goated as hell, if you play anthing other than acro , it sucks

Cause 3rd and 4th spell? Depends how you cycle meteor an ice snake, but renda langit has already -4 ice snake so if you cycle evenly it's better because it doesn't have the mr downside. Then again it depends on the reqs of your build, but 100int is difficult to get in a meta of fatal/quetz/warp, and lament riftwalker is... well it just is.

i dont think thats optimal since acro is rate limited except for maybe dash

well renda is good, but etw gaia/fatal is the meta so you cant really get agi on those

 

Yeah same. I try to fly with hop in lacerate but combat situations completely put off my concentration.

 

Xebec is a fairly straightforward item - you can compute its mana value according to your cps and compare it to alternatives. As I recall, the consensus at the moment is that it's fairly weak.
